When I got home, I was already running a fever. The housekeeper told me that Kevin took Kieran with him. Sinabi daw niya na susunduin ako. I asked the houskeeper kung anong oras sila umalis, she said about 3 hours ago. So I told her, there was a big accident on the main road to Harvard and that they might have been held up there. Baka natraffic na sila dun. I tried calling Kevin's  phone but it was turned off.

At quarter to eight in the eveninh I woke up to butterfly kisses on my face. I thought I was dreaming. I struggled to open my eyes and tried to rise but he told me to just lie down.

"Sweetheart, about tike you wake up. Have some of these so you could take your medicine. Neelah said you haven't had dinner."

"Where'd you go?"

"There was a big accident going to your school so since I was with Kieran I decided to turn back. But the traffic was so huge that we weren't able to get away immediately. We got stuck."

"What time did you arrive?"

"Just five minutes after you got home."

" I had to feed Kieran first. I did not know you were sick. Sorry. But I cooked broth for you. You have to sip some o0and eat bread so you can take your meds."

"Nope. I just want to go to sleep Honey please."

"No. Have some of the food I prepared. Someone is coming for a visit tomorrow. We don't want the visitor to see you looking so ugh looking. And by the way, your Mom and Dad and your Uncle Jota and auntie Silk will be here tomorrow as well."

"Is it tomorrow already?"

"Yes. Tomorrow. So eat it or your Dad will say I am not taking care of you. Mom and Dad will be here tomorrow too."

"Why did eveyone decided to come here at tye same time?"

"Mom and Dad are taking them to the house remember? They will just have breakfast and lunch here. Dinner time we will have another visitor. He's coming from Los Angeles."

"Oh, okay."

"By the way, sweetheart, did you sign the papers I asked you to sign?"

"Yes. I did. But you need not do it."

"I want to."

THE NEXT DAY

So every one left for Kevin's family ranch after they had lunch. Since I am still running a fever, I told them that I will not be able to go with them. My in-laws have been nice to accommodate my parents and Auntie Silk and Uncle Jota. Kevin just arrived from office today. He told me he will bring someone home with him.

I have been tired the whole day entertaining the oldies. It's the first time na bumisita sina Uncle Jota and Auntie Silk dito sa house namain ni Kevin. Kevin was at the office the whole day kasi he has meeting today. Nag board meeting sila kasama ang biyenan kong lalaki but his dad came home early. Naiwan si Kevin kasi may mga papers pa siyang kinausap.

"Darling? I'm home"

"You're here. They just left for the ranch."

"Yeah, Dad called me. Where's Kieran?"

"He's in his room. I have not picked her since I still have fever and a little cough."

"Are you okay? You want to rest?"

"Nope I'm okay. I just wanna lie down."

"Remember the one I told you to visit today?"

"Yes. when is he coming?"

"He's at the spare room at the east wing."

"He's there now?"

"Yes. He came home with me."

"Who is he?"

"Jino"
