The morning arrived quickly as I was sat on my bed already dressed and waiting to leave for my new job.
With an updated portfolio I was reading the last email I recieved from the company telling me when and where I had to be to start.
I wondered if I would be placed in the tourist department, photographing food, restauraunts, attractions and people. Or if I would be put back packing adventures or documentary shooting.
The possibilities were endless but I knew with this job I would push myself and excel in every aspect.
Looking at the time I shut off my laptop and slipped it into my laptop case before taking it downstairs and leaving the house along with my portfolio.
I wonder if I will get my own office... If I do then maybe I can display all my work inside it..
The mere idea of having a room full of pictures on string hanging by pegs pleased me, I would make that office my home if I had one.
Jumping into the car I dumped my bags on the passenger seat and put the keys in. The radio came to live in front of me with Smash Mouth - All stars playing on the radio.
I grinned and turned it up as I pulled my belt on before singing my heart out on the way to work.
"It's a cool place and they say it gets colder
You're bundled up now wait 'til you get older
But the meteor men beg to differ
Judging by the hole in the satellite picture.
The ice we skate is getting pretty thin
The water's getting warm so you might as well swim.
My world's on fire. How about yours?
That's the way I like it I'll never get bored.
Hey now, you're an All star, get your game on, go play
Hey now, you're a Rockstar, get the show on, get paid.
And all that glitter is fold
Only shooting stars break the mold!"

I swung into the carpark of the office block, finding a spot I hopped out and grabbed my bags before heading indoors. The building was cut into different sections for different companies. I knew that space 250 was where I needed to be. I gave the receptionist a friendly smile before getting into the lift and headed to the correct floor. Walking to the far end of the building I reached for the door handle of space 250 when it swung open making me jump back.
"Oh hello." A man smiled slipping his phone away. He had a medium build with dark hair, blue eyes and a friendly smile.
"Hi, I'm Robyn." I smiled holding my hand out.
"Billy, nice to meet you. You're new here right?" He asked shaking my hand as I nodded.
"Yeah first day. I'm looking for a...." I pulled out my phone and found the email stating who I was meeting. "Mr Tolley? I think that's how you pronounce it."
"It is." He smiled.
"Okay good, that's a good start. I don't suppose you know where I can find him?" I questioned.
"You found him."
"Oh.. Oh! Hi I'm your new photographer!" I smiled brightly. I had clearly taken him by surprise as his jaw fell slightly and his eyes widened.
