Baby boom.

Bacon had joined us at the restaurant and quiet frankly I was relieved to have someone so loud and happy there. Because the mood between myself and Zak was dark.

I hadn't tested the field in talking, mainly because I was waiting for him to snap.

"So how's the lovebirds first day together working?" Bacon asked looking at me and Zak.

My heart dropped as the table went quiet, half expecting Zak to jump down his throat, but he didn't and simply stabbed at his plate eating whilst I looked down at my plate.

I couldn't eat.. For the first time ever I couldn't eat because he was angry at me for an unknown reason.

"Ohhhhhkay moving on." Bacon said before changing the subject quickly.

For me it was embarrassing, maybe Zak was used to treating people like they were below him, but it was wrong and unnecessary.

"Excuse me." I spoke placing my money down and leaving the table.

I left the restaurant letting the ice cold air hit me and take my breath away. My chest tightened until it became accustom to the chill and eased a little.

Taking a look at the stars I wondered how many people had done this, not specifically stand outside a restaurant to avoid a table but just take 5 minutes away from the rush of life and just savour a moment as to looking at the stars.

"What the hell are you doing?" A voice asked making my back tense up.

"What do you want now Zak?" I asked turning.

"To know what you're doing?"

"Honestly?" I asked. "I'm avoiding you. You make me feel like shit when you're in your moods. I don't know what it is Zak, what's hooked itself in you. But you clear it. Now." I growled.

"Who the fuck? Who do you think you're talking too?!"

"You! I don't know what's happening in your head! But you've been pissed since the cottage this morning! All because I remembered something!"

"I have not!"

"You have! Ever since that time cap- oh.." I stopped as realisation sank in. "I said that a manky box was more important than you... That's it isn't it?" I asked.

"W-no." He grunted folding his arms.

I scoffed "You're pathetic.. You really are if you're gonna get your boxers in a wad over a time capsule! You know what?! I'm not even gonna apologise for saying it was more important! It is more important that you! It always will be and you wanna know why?!"

His face was filled with anger at this point, maybe it was because my voice was increasing in octaves by the second. Or maybe it was because someone was finally standing up to his bullshit.

"Because my parents are dead! D-E-A-D! You're here living, breathing and moaning!"

"Yet I'm still last in queue!" He shouted walking away from the restaurant doors.

My eyes widened "All this because you aren't centre of attention! You're a selfish little man!"

"Well then why are we even trying?!" He shouted at me.

"Fine, if you've found some slut you want to sleep with here.. Be my guest. But don't bring her to my bed. You can sleep in the fucking RV!"

I stalked away and ended up sitting on the hood of the car waiting for the rest of the crew to come back.

A tear slipped down my cheek making me wipe my face quickly, I couldn't believe him..

"I'm sorry." He spoke making my fists clench.
