A few days had passed since the hospital and I couldn't work out if Zak was genuinely still horribly ill or simply milking it more than what he needed too.I thanked the heavens that I had the sickness where as someone else had it both barrels. Poor Zak had both to contend with and by God was he looking for sympathy as he shuffled around in basketball shorts.
"I feel like I've lost 6 stone." He groaned sliding into bed beside me.
We'd been up all night as Zak was hardly quiet when throwing up and I panicked when I did.
With my face mushed into the pillow I reached out for him but he lightly pushed my hand away.
"I love you but no. I'm sweltering."
"Put the fan on." I mumbled.
Breeze hit us as Zak pulled off his shirt sitting in front of it holding himself.
"I swear I'm gonna eat so healthy, I'm going to exercise and feed my body nothing but organic food an-"
"You're not eating pizza no more?" Zak asked making me stop.
"Now, you are being spiteful." I replied making him laugh and lower his head down.
"Robyn make it go away." He moaned.
"I can't babe. Just keep drinking. Otherwise it's hospital time."
He groaned into a glass of water and eventually laid back down. This bug had knocked the stuffing out of us, but it never seemed to end!
"I want to sleep forever." He yawned falling back onto me head butting my stomach which was sensitive from the constant sickness battle.
"Owh."
"Sorry Roo." He whispered as I brushed his hair back and put a cold flannel on his head.
"Maybe we are making each other sick. Shall I sleep in a different room?" He asked.
"No, if that's what you want, I'll move rooms." I answered firmly.
"I don't want you to go anywhere." He admitted.
"Then we stay here and fight it out together."
"Here here."

Whilst Zak showered, I stripped the bed and made it fresh so that the germs would bugger off. With the glass doors pushed back, the fresh air was welcomed to circulate. I checked on him but received my answer as he threw up.
Shaking my head I placed down our new meal menu courtesy of the doctors orders.
BRAT.
No not a brat but BRAT. B - bananas R- rice A - Applesauce and T- Toast. Or anything dry like crackers.
"It all tastes like donkey dick." Zak moaned coming into the room looking at the tray.
I laughed as I ate a banana. His eyes watched me before he held himself "Fuck sake Robyn."
"What?" I asked oblivious.
He stood to the side and pointed down to his tented shorts.
"Oh.." I mumbled "You got energy for that?" I asked slightly impressed.
"No, now stop." He pushed the banana away from my mouth making me pout my lip out.
"I was enjoying that banana."
"Well I was watching you eat it too. So no. Eat toast."
I picked up the dry toast and bit it. "Hmm yummy!"
