I was sat on the couch eating breakfast from my lap when Zak came out the bathroom in boxers.
My appetite deceased as he walked around the room putting his clothes into his bag.
"I've ordered you some food..." I announced tilting my head as he bent over. I admit, I was perving beyond doubt at his ass.
"Not hungry."
"Okay.." I replied quietly turning back to my food.
Finishing up my orange juice, I looked over to find him packing his things.
"When are we leaving?" I questioned.
"There has been a change of plan. We're leaving in an hour, so if you want a shower... Now would be the time."
Sensing his change in attitude, I picked out some clothes and slipped into the bathroom taking that shower.
By the time I got out of the bathroom with damp hair, Zak was leaving the room. "I'll be down in the lobby." He called as the door closed behind him.
"Oh... Okay." Once it clicked shut I sighed. "Guess we won't be having a talk then."

I put my head on my hand watching the cars flash by us as we headed to our next location. The sun was out which gave the bus a little warmth as I sat by the window in the sunlight.
With Aaron and Jay sleeping and Zak in his room. It left Billy who had been on the phone to his wife for the last hour or so.
Moving out from behind the table, I made my way to the back of the bus and poked my head in on Zak.
"Hey. Where you been?" He asked quietly.
"Giving you a little space. Just checking to see if you are okay?"
"Come lay with me." He patted the bed beside him.
I laid down next to him and turned my eyes to the window watching the clouds. "I'm sorry for dragging you out the hotel like that."
I shook my head "You can't control everything, if we needed to move, then we needed to move. Is everything okay?"
He sighed "Nothing I can't handle."
I nodded and looked back to the window "How's your head?"
"Getting there. Just need to sleep it off."
I fell silent wondering if that was his hint that he needed to sleep and not talk. I felt a poke in the side of my cheek making me look over at him.
"What's on that mind?" He asked tucking his hand under the pillow.
"It's nothing I can't handle." I replied using his earlier statement.
"You mad with me because I wouldn't tell you?" He asked surprised.
"No, no. Don't be silly.." I answered patting his arm.
"So...."
I pondered before caving in "Did you really mean that... When you came back this morning? Or was it heat of the moment kinda thing?"
I hate how needy I sounded but I wanted to know where I stood. I needed to know before I invested time into this, going in with your heart on your sleeve doesn't always end well especially if it's one sided.
A smile formed on his lips "I knew you'd be analysing it.. That's why you've been hanging out there. Robyn, I meant what I said."
"Yeah but I wou-"
