It was early morning in Montana when I had banging on my bedroom door. Rolling over in the bed, I pulled the bedding over my body hoping whoever it was would simply piss off.
However all hope was squashed when heavy footsteps thudded in the room. "Get up. You've got an hour." Zak spoke.
I pushed my hand out from the bedding and flipped him off.
"Very lady like."
I lifted my half crumbled face from the pillow lazily and smiled "Whatever made you think I was one of them?"
He smirked slightly causing his bad ass demeanour to fall. "Didn't sleep much?" I asked rolling onto my back.
"No. I had things on my mind." He replied looking out the window.
Being three floors up, I saw little point of drawing the curtains and left them open.
"You should get up and get some breakfast.. We leave soon." He spoke before taking a look over at me.
My sleep sobered up quickly when I remembered that place. Pulling myself up slowly I nodded "I'll get up now."
He gave me a sympathetic smile before turning around. "You know... They were wrong to say you were evil Robyn. You're far from it."
My eyes looked up to see the back of him. I almost asked what he meant when I saw his head twisted looking at the notebook.
I didn't know what to say or do. So I simply sat there taking it in and letting his words sink into my body.

I could feel the twisting knot in my stomach and the pangs of anxiety circuiting through my body as I arrived at the orphanage.
My eyes fixated on the building which once held children and babies. This place was a part of me whether I liked to admit it or not. It's once pristine white may have looked like a well kept orderly orphanage. But behind its doors held terror, pain and cries.
The chipped paintwork and almost decaying of the building in which it was stood now was its perfect form and nature. It looked wrong because what happened here was wrong.
I took a small breath when Zak's face appeared in front of me. I blinked looking at myself in his sunglasses, my reflection almost showed the little girl who was dropped here with a small teddy bear in one hand and a case in the other.
"I'm right here." He whispered stroking my cheek with his gloved hand. "Bacon said you were whispering my name.. I'm here."
"I was?"
"Yeah.. I heard you when I opened the car door sweetie. It's okay."
"Zak..." Bacon spoke making me jump at the sudden louder octaves.
"Not now Bacon. It can wait." He said instantly before taking my belt off slowly.
"I don't think I can get out Zak.. I can't do this. I'm sorry. I-"
"You do this.. With me. I'm right by your side but you shut this down. All of it."
I wanted to so that, I wanted to close this chapter of my life but seeing the place in its wooden and concrete. I just couldn't, fear had taken hold of me as turned me back into a small child.
"I can do this.." I whispered to myself and held onto his arm as I got out.
"That's it." Zak whispered encouraging me to continue on.
