De Soto Hotel...
I peered out the SUV window before looking for Zak. This place was a dive and the area was bad. I knew that because of the crime rate.
A loud thud made me scream and hit the lock button on the door, turning my head I saw Zak smiling.
"Got ya!"
"I'm not getting out." I mouthed folding my arms. That alerted him enough to stop messing around and came around to my door.
"What do- open the door I look stupid." He sighed.
"That's not hard." I countered with a smirk.
I eventually unlocked the door and he opened it standing beside me. His cologne wafted down into my nose making me want to pull him into me by his shirt.
"What's happening?" He asked.
"Zak.. This place looks scary and this is just the area." I replied.
"I know but you won't be left alone okay? You get in, do your thing and you're back at the hotel."
"Yeah alone. Leaving you guys here.. Look at this place." I whispered as people passed by looking at us.
"Well if it's me you are worried about. I'll be fine doll."
I narrowed my eyes at the 'Doll', I shivered as the coldness came creeping in too.
"Would you like protection from the big bad world?" He teased talking to me as if I was a child.
"I'm sorry who moved the pillow last night because they needed a cuddle?" I countered.
"Okay shut up." He huffed looking around.
Yeah, that's what I thought. Last night I made a pillow wall, pissed off and embarrassed about the event which I shall not refer to. If you had asked me what I was thinking, I would have told you the truth. I simply wasn't thinking... At all.
"I've got to go, but I seriously recommend that you get out and get ready." Zak walked away to get mic'd up leaving me to close the car door again.
"This sucks so bad..." I groaned before taking out the keys and grabbing my bag.
I kept myself alert as I set myself up and hung my camera around my neck. I noticed that a few people were slowing down to take a look at us, it made me nervous and I found myself rushing to get things sorted so that I could stand with the crew than be stood alone.
Hearing wolf whistles only made me shudder and put my head down more. I couldn't tell if they were directed at me, but I wasn't going to start looking around for them.
"Where's your jacket?" Zak asked making me jump and almost fall in the trunk.
"Don't do that!" I hissed at him grabbing my chest.
"Sorry, but where is it?"
"I didn't bring one. Why?"
"Because you need one. It's cold and you're standing out like a sore thumb with that camera." Within a few seconds I was having a coat put on me that was a few sizes too big and not mine.
"Who's is this?" I asked picking up the collar and smelling it. "It's yours."
Zak smiled zipping up the jacket "You can tell by smelling it, can you?"
"I know your smell." I answered.
Something about that sentence made his smile widely before he placed a kiss on my forehead "Stay safe and don't talk to anyone unless you absolutely have to."
