"Come on.... Come on. That's i- . N-no!" I hissed thumping the top of my case before shooting a look over at Zak to make sure I hadn't woke him.
Preparation is key, or so they say but at the rate I was going? I was going to be a year too late.
I woke up early with a craving for pizza, pepperoni, stuffed cru-
"Ohhh." I whispered to myself holding my hungry tummy.
First thing this morning I almost ran to the bathroom expecting shark week... Nothing. So now I was pissed for waking early and annoyed that it's frowned upon in society to get pizza at 7.30am unless you're extremely hung over.
To make matters worse?
I couldn't get in my suitcase! I had worked out after shoving my head inside the small gap that there was a top caught in the zip but I couldn't get at it to pull it out. So now I was even more cranky.
I zipped it up completely and tried again. My hope built every time as I got a tooth more but when it snagged it was like a red rag to a bull.
"Blast this piece of shit!" I huffed standing up to stamp on it as well as kick it.
"What on earth are you doing?" Zak asked in his morning voice.
My head snapped to his voice as the anger flushed out of me. "It started it."
He let out a chuckle before holding his arms out for me to crawl into.
"I can't I need my clothes so I can get ready, I nee-"
"Chill out." He yawned causing annoyance to flare up. Not to take it out on him, I went back to my case and tried pulling the zip off.
However the snag happened and I lost my shit.
"Curse you! You filthy mud blood!" I shouted throwing it down again.
Zak's laughing met my ears again.
"Stop fucking laughing! I'm gonna die of starvation here."
A pair of arms snaked around my waist and pulled me back up the bed "Quoting Harry Potter isn't going to help."
"How did you know it was Harry Potter? I thought you didn't watch films?" I countered.
"Robyn, sweetie. I spend Christmas Day with my family watching Christmas films." He smiled.
Although he didn't mean it in the context I took it, I thought he meant that I wasn't family.
And I wasn't.
And that he was rubbing it in that he had a family and I didn't.
But I kept my mouth shut as the paranoid diva in my head did her little round.
"Lucky you." I muttered before I could stop myself.
He sighed and looked at me patiently. "I'm sorry..." I frowned looking at my feet. "I'm just a bit moody."
"No sign of leak week?" He asked.
"Leak week?" I questioned.
"Yeah you know? Paging Edward Cullen." He smirked.
"That's Twil-"
