Chapter 14

"Babe come here. What's wrong?" He asked me sweetly and I sniffled. "I don't want to talk about it..." I said and he nodded. "I just really need you right now, Cal..." I told him and Calum smiled sweetly. "You know I'm always here for you." He said and pulled me into a hug. "Thank you." I said. The tears still hadn't stopped streaming down my face and Calum looked at me. "I'll bring you to your house." He said and I shook my head no. "Cal... please... I don't want to see Harry again..." I sniffled and Calum flashed me a weak smile. "Harry's rehersing with his band. C'mon." He said helping me up. He picked me up bridal style and brought me to my house, which wasn't very far away.

"Go get some rest okay. Call me if you need anything." He said and I nodded. "Thank you Calum." I said and he smiled and pecked my cheek. "Just get some sleep, babe. Call me as soon as you wake up," He told me and I nodded before walking into the house where Anne was crying on the couch. "Anne what's wrong!?" I asked as I ran over to her. "Autumn, it's your mum." She sniffled and I turned pale. "Your mom... she tried to kill herself... She- She's in the hospital.. They don't know if she'll make it." She cried out and I froze. It was like in those movies when something bad happens and time freezes. That's what happened.

I finally unfroze and fell to the floor. I screamed and cried. "She wouldn't leave me!" I yelled and Anne looked at me with tears in her eyes. "I HAVE TO SEE HER ANNE!" I cried out and Anne nodded as tears streamed down her face. "Do you want me to come with you?" She asked and I shook my head no. I knew exactly what I needed.

*BeepBeepBeep*

"Hello, this is Lou! I can't come to the phone right now sorry!" I sniffled and slid my back down the wall until I reached the floor.

"Louis.... I know we're fighting but I-" The lump in my throat made it almost impossible for me to speak. "I just r-really n-need you right n-now Louis..." I said through sobs. "Please call me." I cried before hanging up. I didn't get a call back. I got a text.

I sobbed louder and called the person I knew would be there for me. I didn't know why I didn't cal him first. I sniffled and he picked up. "Hey, Autumn! What's up?" He asked happily. "C-Calum I n-need you." I cried out and he stayed quiet. "I'll be over in five." He said before hanging up the phone.

The doorbell rang and I ran to the door, opening it. Calum emediatly pulled me into a hug, kissing the top of my head. "What's wrong?" He asked and I sniffled. "Please take me to the hospital..." I whispered and he looked at me concerned before nodding and we drove off to the hospital.

"I'm here to see Marie Cooper... I'm her daughter." I said softly and the lady nodded before looking my mom up in the computer. She gave me a symphathatic look before telling me her room number. I thanked her and walked up to Calum who was sitting in a chair. He followed me. "Please wait here.." I said outside of my moms room. He nodded and I walked in.

"Mommy?" I asked sniffling. Calum didn't know we were visiting my mom, nor the reason she was in here. "COME ON MOM!" I cried out. "YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE ME HERE! I NEED YOU MOM!" I cried out. I took her hand. "I can't take it if you leave me too..." I whispered. "Everybody leaves... they always do." I cried softly. "YOU PROMMISED YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE ME! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME MOM YOU'RE MY EVERYTHING I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU!" I cried out and Calum walked in. "You're supposed to be my rock, mom." I cried and Calum turned me around and hugged me tight. "I need her, Calum." I said inbetween sobbes as I cried into his chest. "She'll make it Autumn." He said into my hair and I sniffled. "I can't take seeing her like this." I sobbed and he kissed the top of my head again. That's when her heartbeat went flat. "NO!" I screamed as the doctors tried to get me out of the room. "MOM I NEED YOU!" I cried. "LET GO OF ME!" I yelled at the doctors. "MOMMY I NEED YOU!" I yelled and just like that.

I broke.
