Maybe we're all just waiting for someone who cares enough to try. Isn't it?

Someone who is always aloof with the unfriendly earth, but would test his luck just to get to you. Someone who's always forgetful, but would always remember the little details about you. Someone who would go beyond his limits.

We're all just waiting for someone and hope we could matter enough to them.

And I guess I mattered enough to him.

Gavin showed me I was always enough.

Hindi siya humintong sumubok. Kahit kailan ay hindi siya huminto para iparamdam sa aking sapat na ang nararamdaman niya para hindi tumigil.

And now we're here. Mahina ako ngunit sa kanya ako humuhugot ng lakas. Dahil nakikita ko kung gaano siya sumusubok para ayusin ang lahat.

I don't want to look at her. I feel like I am really betraying her. Ng doble sa pagsuway na matapang kong ginagawa ngayon.

A soft hand suddenly took over. She gently held my hand and Gavin's hand.

Napaangat ako ng tingin at sumalubong sa akin ang mukha ng aking kapatid. She's wearing a light smile with her sparkling eyes. Like it's a sign that a tear might fall from those any minute.

"I want you to be happy, Sid..." She caressed my cheeks.

Tumulo ang luha sa mga mata ko at agad siyang ginawaran ng isang mahigpit na yakap. Hindi ko alam kung anong mararamdaman ko ngayon. Parang sasabog ang puso ko.

"I'm sorry, Ate..." I sniffed.

Hinagod niya ang aking likuran at pilit akong pinakalma. I was ready to cry myself out the moment we entered this room. Ngayon ay ilalabas ko talaga lahat.

"It's okay, Sid..." She giggled out of her cracking voice. "It's okay. I understand... Ssh..."

Kumalas ako sa aking ate at nilingon si Gavin.
