They said the universe is constantly giving us signs to direct us, to guide us to wherever we are supposed to be.
Acknowledging them means you let the world take you to the unknown. And more often than not, the end places are always unexpected... Surprising.
I hope this isn't the end place the universe had prepared for me.

Lumunok ako ng isang beses habang hawak ko pa rin ang door handle. I kept my straight face.
"Gavin, anong ginagawa mo rito?" Nagsalitang muli si Dave. Bakas ang kaunting gulat sa kanyang mukha.
Nauna siyang pumasok sa akin. I was still gently squeezing the door handle. Like it was an alternate for a stressball.
Wow. What's good, universe? One moment I was calmly walking myself up Ignite's building, and the next thing I know? Na i-stress na ako!
"I'm a client." As straightforward as it can be.
The side of his lips slightly shot up. You can find the humor in there.
Dave moved. Sabay silang lumapit sa isa't isa. They did the gesture two grown up men do after years of not seeing each other.
"Ah! Oo..." Like a bell rang in front of Dave.Dave's two hands touched his own waist while nodding. "Of course... It's been all over instagram newsfeed. The wedding, huh?" Dave wiggled his eyebrows . "Grabe, bro. Ilang taon din kayong nawala. Five years?" He comically smiled.
"Yes... You can say that. The wedding..." Gavin answered. I sensed the hesitation. "Oo nga," dugtong niya agad. "Been five years..."
He kind of chuckled. His voice lingered. Like the way it did way back God knows when. Napalunok ako sa mga nasa isip ko.
Sasagot pa sana si Dave ngunit sumungaw ang isa sa mga interns namin sa pintuan.
"Sir Dee, nasa ibaba na ho ang mga models. Paakyatin ko na ho ba sa deck?" Nagmamadali niyang banggit.
Dave shifted to the intern quickly and by the look of his face, I knew he has quite an issue about the said shoot today.
"This early?" I heard his light cuss. Tumango siya sa intern. "Sige, I'll go downstairs in a bit. Gavin, pare..." He turned to the man I couldn't even look at. "Catch up mamaya. Maiwan muna kita rito..." They did their college days gesture.
Dave turned to where I stood stiffly. Yes. Mukha akong tuod na nakatayo sa pintuan. Napanis na ang laway at hindi ko mawari kung kaya ko bang gumalaw ngayon.
"Sid..." Dave mouthed. His face flashed as if asking if I'll be fine.
Ngising aso ang isinagot ko sa kanya.
"Go..." I answered using soft voice. Tumango ako sa kanya.
"Oh, I almost forgot..."
May kung ano siyang kinuha sa kanyang bulsa at lumabas mula roon ang cellphone ko.
"Cellphone mo, Miss Ulyanin." Dave chuckled.
Napangiti ako habang kinukuha sa kanya ang cellphone. It felt awkward knowing there are two eyes looking at us. Napalis ko ang ngiti sa labi ko.
Tinapik ako ni Dave sa balikat at maagap na lumabas sa conference room.
Naiwan akong nakatayo roon.
