Hey, guys! So, I remember having a conversation with my friend about this fanfiction - the conversation happened back when I was writing it on Microsoft Word - and she said something to me that I thought was just straight-up dumb:
"Have Tyler propose to Cynthia in, like, the fifth chapter." That sparked an entire conversation, which is down below:
"No!"
"Why not?"
"Because that is way too soon! I mean, come on. They confessed how they feel in the second chapter. Do you really think he would propose three chapters later?!"
"Well, that's how this sort of fanfiction works! They fall in love, then get married soon after."
"That's not how it works at all! When was the last time you read a fanfiction?" (Note: She said she likes fanfictions, but hardly ever reads them.)
"I don't know! Just have him propose soon."
"Ugh, fine. When?"
"Sixth chapter?"
"No."
"Seventh?"
"No."
"Eighth?"
"No."
"Ninth?"
"No."
"Ten-"
"You know what? Let me think of a chapter number. What about the fourteenth chapter?"
"Yeah, I'm down with that."
"Okay. Fourteenth chapter it is!"
What do you guys think? Should I have Tyler propose in the fourteenth chapter, or is that still too soon? Let me know. I'll try and post the next chapter as soon as I can. Bye!
