Chapter 6 – The Clan Meet
“SHE MUST BE OUTCASTED!” yelled the River Otter mage,
“That is unfair! Do you think it was her choice to be the Forest Girl! She has done nothing wrong! She is no threat!” Torak protested,
“The clan law must be obeyed!” shouted another clan’s mage.
Torak and Renn sat there in the River otter mage’s shelter. They were trying to save Kiara from being outcasted, but it was them against all the other clans.
“No boy wants her as his mate, and no clan wants to foster her! So she must be outcasted!” yelled the River Otter mage. The shelter erupted with cheers.
“I will foster her!” Torak shouted over the noise as he stood up and the tent went quiet.
“Do all members of your clan agree?” asked the River Otter mage,
“I need to ask my son, and that is all, if he says yes then I will foster her.”
“You have until sunrise to tell us your clan’s decision.” said the mage.
Torak and Renn stood up and exited the shelter and headed back to their own shelter.
