Chapter 31 ~ Kenna's Return
Aaliyah
Having a baby bump and living on a tour bus was not cool. I was constantly put to bed rest by the over-protective future Daddy and not allowed to leave unless it was for a show or to walk around outside at a stop. Ashley brought me food and all I needed, I was really grateful for all he’d been doing but I had wanted to try and hang out again, play video games with the guys before we have a little boy and girl to take care of.
My stomach was as big as a woman’s who was soon going to have one baby, it was a twenty pound weight on my front, hard walking around now because of the back pains but you couldn’t help but get cabin fever inside this little bunk. I was only 30 weeks pregnant and I was already having pains like this, and soon enough I wouldn’t be able to see my toes.
Ever sense we were told we were having fraternal twins I had begun to worry, and so had Ashley no matter how he tried to hide it. Would one of them only be his and the other belong to someone else? Had this happened in Vegas, and was the other father the one I thought I had slept with? The thought dwelled on me making me feel worse and worse every day, the only other bad part was: I couldn’t remember who I was in bed with other than Ashley.
The baby daddy could be some random bum who swept my wasted ass into a bedroom, it could have been a band member from warped tour, and I dreaded the thought of it being someone in this band other than my Outlaw. The very though sent tremors down my spine and goose bumps spread across my arms.
I sighed and put a hand on my swollen belly and rubbed it, slowly drifting to sleep again.

Ashley
I was in the ‘living room’ of the bus with the guys as we made our way to one of our last stops on the Church Part II Tour in Manchester. I was going through some fan mail we had taken to numb our boredom and long hours on the bus, so was Jinx, CC and Andy as Jake played single player Walking Dead by himself.
IN the middle of reading a letter from some fan named Lily, I heard Aaliyah screaming my name.
“Ashley! Ashley! Come here now!”
All looked up at me as I scrambled from my seat and ran up to my bunk, tearing the curtain open, “What what?” I ask in a panic, looking at her.
Aaliyah took my hand and put it on her stomach, putting it on the right side and I sure enough felt something kicking.
“Little girl decided to kick now.” She smiled.
"Good lord you gave me a heart attack." I groan and lay my head on her arm as she laughs at me and my racing heart.
Aaliyah smiled innocently and I looked up to see her beautiful, pale face to smile.
"Sorry, what were you doing?" She asks me trying to sit up but I just hop up on the bed so she doesn't have to, swinging my legs off the edge.
"I was going through fan mail, speaking of, you got a letter." I say looking in my pocket for the envelope.
Aaliyah raises an eyebrow and as I hand her the crumpled envelope she looks at the return address scrawled on it and beamed. "It's from Kenna!" she screeches excitedly.
I laugh and nod. "Read it, I wanna know what she says, and pass it along to Andy. His little rebel."
Aaliyah tears the envelope wide open, looking at a small keychain of Jack Skellington with Sally and then the three page letter. I roll my eyes and wait as Aaliyah mumbles the written words under her breath until she reads allowed: "Tell everyone I love them and I hope I can go to another concert soon. You and Ash should take it easy girlie, I hope I get to see pictures of the little ones. Anyway. Message to Ashley is: Be a good dadd you Outlaw, remember these are your own flesh and blood, and I know you and Aaliyah will be great parents. Message me soon, to all of you! Love, The Little Rebel."
I smile as Ali hugs the letter and small gift and looks up at me happily to see my smiling face as well.
"That's cute, write her back babe if you want, we can send her a guitar pick or something." I smile encouragingly, Aaliyah needed something to do other than sleep, eat and repeat.
Aaliyah nods. "I'll get right on that, thanks Ash." she says still beaming and radiating off happiness.
I turned back to jump off the bunk and to the couch again to finish my mail, but with thoughts rolling through my head CC inturrupted my thoughts by saying softly. "Hey Ash?"
I turn to him and raise an eyebrow. "Yeah?"
"When are you going to marry Aaliyah..." he asks looking innocently and only curious but feared my anger and he scooted to the edge of the couch.
I looked at him and thought deep. I hadn't thought about it.
"My kids... they'll be bastards unless I marry her before..."
"Or after." Jinx inturrupts, "They won't be bastards."
"Right after, but I guess I should, propose now?" I look at the guys, who had joined the conversation uninvited but I needed their guidance.
"I'd propose." Jake nodded.
"It's the best bet man." Andy says looking up from a letter he got.
I nod and smile a bit. "Alright guys, what's the plan?"
