At Taylor's house

Taylor barely registered her phone vibrating next to her as she sat reading a book on the sofa. It was one of those rare days when she actually at home. She had a fire going in the fireplace, both cats were curled up next to her, and she was relishing the feeling of peace and quiet. She didn't have any meetings, any appointments, or any friends around today. Just Taylor.

She glanced at the phone screen as it continued to vibrate and furrowed her eyebrows at the familiar, yet very unexpected, number on the screen. It was Adam's home phone number - a number he never used, with the sole purpose of having internet and in case of emergency.

Taylor answered her phone as it was about to stop ringing, deciding she may as well just in case it was an emergency.

"Hello?"

"Thank god you answered! Adam's heart is acting up or something and he says you know where the meds are and what to do??? He keeps fading in and out of consciousness but says he doesn't need an ambulance or anything. Can you come and help? The boys are all out of town this weekend! And the power has all gone out!" A very panicked Ellie said, almost all in one breath and very quickly.

"Can I not just tell you where they are and what to do?" She asked, closing her book and standing up anyways.

"Please Tay..... I'm really scared." Ellie said, pleadingly.

Taylor contemplated the situation for all of 5 seconds, looking out her window at the growing olive tree from nearly a year before planted in the corner, before making her mind up.

"Okay, I'll be there in 10 minutes." She relented as Ellie thanked her.

Taylor sent a message to her security to say they needed to go out as she got a pair of boots out of the closet and checked her makeup in the mirror. Luckily she still had security around on days off, otherwise she might have just driven herself over there.

"Where to Taylor?" Her driver asked.

"To Adam's place...as quickly as possible." She replied, trying not to talk herself out of it.

Her driver and security looked slightly confused at first before starting out on the well known route from Taylor's to Adam's.

Meanwhile at Adam's house

"I'm so sorry! I have no idea what I did! I'm a terrible friend!" Charlie said down the phone.

He was on the phone to Adam, who was at the location he was opening a gym at. Charlie had called to say something was wrong with Adam's beloved cat Roy. Charlie had been on cat duty for all of 2 hours this morning before the call was made.

"Seriously Charlie? 2 f-ing hours! That's got to be a record! He's a cat for goodness sake! What did you do?" Adam said in an irritated voice. As Charlie was about to answer, he cut in again, "You know what? I don't even want to know. I'll be home in about 5 minutes."

Adam hung up the phone without a goodbye or anything, and Charlie turned around, smiling at Ellie.

"Who said we could never do it!?" He said with a mischievous grin.

"Yeah.... The EASY part is over. Now comes the tricky stuff." She replied.

"Oh yeah.... What's the plan again?" Charlie asked, biting his lip slightly.

About 5 minutes later (Adam's House)

"I swear I didn't do anything. He just started making lots of weird noises and not moving much...." Charlie said, as he followed a huffing Adam into the room where Roy apparently was.
