"Hey, are you sure you are okay?" Karlie asked Taylor as they went to their cars to leave.

Taylor and a bunch of her best friends had spent the evening celebrating Drake's birthday. It had been a fantastic bash at Delilah restaurant in West Hollywood, complete with food and free flowing alcohol.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine!" Taylor said, smiling at Karlie, throwing her arms out to give her friend a hug.

To any outsider, Taylor looked like she was just very happy, but her friends knew she has taken full advantage of the bar and was over her tipsy level of drunk. Karlie just smiled at her friend and gave her a hug, bearing a lot of Taylor's weight as she leant on her.

"Okay.... let me know when you get home. I'll see you for lunch tomorrow." Karlie said, as she opened the car door and made sure Taylor got in alright. "Take her away boys!" She said to the driver and the security guard as she closed the door, while both just smiling and nodding at her.

Karlie made her way to the car behind, where the Haim girls were waiting for her so they could all head to their hotels and homes.

"Was Taylor okay?" Este asked, texting someone on her phone.

"Yeah, she should be fine.... the guys will get her home." Karlie replied, closing the door behind her before the car started up, going in the opposite direction to Taylor's.

Meanwhile in Taylor's car....

"We are going the wrong way!" Taylor said suddenly, making her security guard turn around and look at her.

"Taylor, we are definitely going in the right direction...." He said, crinkling his eyebrows.

"No! It's that way!" Taylor said adamantly. "I want to go THAT way!" She kept saying, flinging her arm towards the opposite direction to the way they were going.

The car stopped at a traffic light and Taylor sarted bawling.

"I want to go to Adam's house. Why won't you take me home? I'm going to walk!" Taylor said, trying to open the door, but luckily it was locked so she couldn't.

"Just turn around, she won't let it go otherwise...." Her security told her driver, rolling his eyes. He wasn't surprised this was happening, it had before, but usually she had a friend in the car with her who would change her mind.

The car turned as the light turned green, heading towards Adam's house instead.

"Taylor, we're here." Her security guard said a few minutes later as they pulled up at Adam's gate.

"Really!?" She asked, looking up, a bright smile forming on her face. "Well, what are you waiting for! Put the code in!"

"Um... the code must have been changed...." He said hesitantly, having tried the code they used to use for the gate.

"Oh...." Taylor said, bawling again. "Just take me home."

Soon they were on the road again, with Taylor sniffling in the backseat, her makeup running all down her face. The guys in the front seat looked at each other in panic before her security guard started texting someone on his phone.

His message said: "SOS. Meet us at the house asap.".

By the time, they got through the gate, there was another car there. As soon as Taylor's car stopped, Karlie rushed out of the car in front. She was still in her clothes from the party, but had removed her makeup, pulled her hair into a ponytail, and changed her shoes. Karlie rushed over and opened the back door, thanking the security guard as she climbed in next to Taylor, while the guys climbed out.

It took Karlie 10 minutes to get Taylor calmed down and into the house, and Taylor very quickly fell asleep, having worn herself out with the emotional drive and the alcohol consumption at the party.

The next morning, Taylor didn't remember asking to go to Adam's house, and Karlie wasn't about to remind her. Instead Karlie said Taylor had invited her over for a spur of the moment sleepover, but might have been too drunk to remember, which made Taylor blush and laugh. Sometimes it's better to not bring things up, and this was one of those times.
