We took the longest route possible back to my car. Once we were in my car, I slipped in the Blink 182 album. The song I miss you began to play.
"Hello there the angel from my nightmare. The shadow in the background of the morgue. The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley. We can live like Jack and Sally if you want." I crapily sang along, making Jessica laugh. "Where you can always find me. We'll have halloween on Christmas, and in the night we'll wish this never ends, we'll wish this never ends." I kept my eyes on the road for the short instrumental break. I turned to Jessica as i began to sing again, purposely sounding like a pubescent 13 year old. "Where are you? And I'm soo sorry. I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight. I need somebody and always"
"You're so weird!" she teased, laughing.
I continued to sing "And as I stared I counted webs from all the spiders, Catching things and eating their insides!" the song continued as I butchered it to make her laugh. It was the only song I did this during, the rest of the way, we just talked.
As we got close to Lloyd's house, I noticed other cars. Johnny's, Dan's and one that i didn't really recognize. "Weird" I mumbled. We got down from the car and entered the house. Lloyd, Johnny Dan and Adam, who i haven't seen in forever.
"Hey guys!" I happily greeted, starting to hug them. They also began saying hi to Jessica.
"Hey, Nick It's been awhile" Adam said.
"Yeah. So what's going on?" i asked. Everyone looked at Lloyd.
"We don't know. Lloyd refused to tell us until you got here." Johnny replied. "Well Lloyd?"
"WE'RE GETTING SIGNED TO FEARLESS" he shouted, spreading his arms open.
"Really?!" the rest of us asked, in shock.
"Yes!" he answered back.
"Thank God; Universal Motown sucked" Johnny laughed. I can agree.
"You know how ironic that is." Dan said, "Get Scared getting signed to Fearless Records."
We laughed. This is great. New year, new Label, new girlfriend. "Are we gonna tour soon?!" I asked, excited, hoping to be on stage again.
"I think we will be in a few months, but first we have to go through all the paperwork and agree to sell our souls to them." he joked.
"Yes!" I exclaimed, hugging Lloyd.
"Calm down, Nick, you're gonna make Jessica jealous of me" Lloyd teased.
"Yeah Nick, Get of him or we're through" She joked, with a high pitched voice.
"Wait!" Johnny interjected, "you guys are dating?!"
