Noah pov

Riah left because of her curfew. I didn't argue, but it was best for her. We had tacos for dinner and red velvet cake for dessert. I had to say this date was the best. But I knew there will be trouble in paradise.

I got a call from some unknown person and I answered it. My mom and Joseph were both busy.

"Hello?" I answered

"Is this Noah?" He asked me.

"Who is this?" I asked feeling confused. I then recognized his voice, is that dad?

"Dad, is that you?" I asked him.

"My son, I miss you so much, I was wondering if you might have a chance for me to come visit you and your mother tomorrow?" He asked, "maybe I could reconcile with your mother."

I hesitated, my dad doesn't know that my mom is remarried and she doesn't want to speak about my dad. I felt myself getting nervous about this. I don't want to tell Riah about this. I already told her about how my dad is a cheater. I just don't know. My mind hasn't been straight at all. I heard from Lauren's parents that she was bailed and now they kicked her out of the house until she can get her act together, good thing she is still expelled though.

I turned my attention on my phone which was buzzing big time. Speak of the devil, it's the b**** herself Lauren.

[Lauren]: Noah we need to talk

[Me] F*** off I had enough!

[Lauren]: Please you don't understand, I was jealous

[Me]: But that doesn't excuse you for what you did to my princess

[Me] : If your really jealous, prove it

[Lauren]: When I was in jail, I had a mental breakdown like some ghost possessed me. I have flashbacks of what happened during school plus my parents kicked me out of the house because of my behavior. Whatever bye.

I laid on my bed with a lot of stuff on my mind. I got my phone to play Super Mario Run. The next thing I know is that Riah texted me.

[Goddess Baby 👸🏼💕] Just letting you know that I'm alright my dad is ban from cake for a week. He's been crying like a baby since lol

[Me] Haha ... can I have some of that cake 😉😏

I smirked. That girl is so cute when she's shy.

I didn't want her to know that my dad was coming by. I told her about my dad, and worried about the family. I hate feeling like I have the whole world on my shoulders. With a shadow of doubt, I feel like everything will collapse.

For the rest of the night, I did the dishes while listening to "Party Monster" by The Weeknd. (Anybody family of The Weeknd)

Riah's pov

Another family movie night and my mom decided on watching Kill Bill v. 1. This would work on putting all what happened behind me. The bullying, my attempted suicide, me almost getting murdered by Lauren, and Kyle's jealousy. I now have family, friends, and a boyfriend who loves me.
