Zariana Cruz:

As I laid in bed I couldn't help but think where I have seen Chris eyes before. It was weighing heavy on my chest and it was starting to bother me. It felt as though I know him from somewhere, his touch was a reminder of something but of what? Shaking my head, I threw the covers off my body and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Zari!"

Wondering why Darrin was shouting my name so loudly I walked over to the door and opened it. Walking to the top of the steps I looked down then mugged.

"What?"

Jogging down the steps when I didn't get an answer, I walked towards the kitchen to see him in front of the stove with a spatula in his hand.

"You ready to eat?" He looked her his shoulder.

"Mhm, what you cook?" I pulled out the tall bar stool and climbed on top of it.

"Pancake, bacon, and eggs," He shrugged while putting something on a plate and then putting the plate full of food in front of me. He grabbed the bottle of syrup and placed it in front of the plate.

"Aw, thank you," I smiled lightly while pouring a mountain amount of syrup on my pancakes and bacon.

"You know you're going to get diabetes from all that syrup," He chuckled as he pulled out his seat as well while placing his plate down.

"Am not," I side eyed him as I place a forkful of pancakes in my mouth.

"Are too," He smiled which caused me to shake my head.

"You are something else you know," I pointed my fork at him.

"How?" He raised his brow while biting into his bacon.

"You just are," Shrugging I placed another forkful of pancakes in my mouth and groaned.

"This is so damn good," I laughed while dancing on my seat.

"Thanks to the pancake mix," Darrin pointed out before laughing.

"Yeah, thanks to that," I placed my fork in the air with a smile.

"Hey Darrin, can I ask you a question?" I looked towards him while sliding out the chair and walking to the fridge. My mind just keeps wondering back to that Chris guy and it was bugging the hell out of me.

"You just did but what's up?" Darrin looked up from his plate to me.

Opening the fridge, I took out a small bottle of Tropicana orange and apple juice walked back towards the island.

"It seems like I know Chris from somewhere. It's like I seen him before better, it seems like I felt him before, spent a life time with him why is that?" I put the juices in the middle of us and watch as he took the orange juice leaving me with the apple juice.

"I don't know, but honestly that's how I felt when I met them both. Chris, Cairo and I instantly clicked, and I thought it was pretty weird," Shrugging Darrin twisted his cap open and took a sip of his drink.

"Wow, so we both went through the same familiar feelings but don't know the answer to them," I question with my finger under my chin.

"I guess you can say that," Darrin nodded his head as he placed some eggs in his mouth.

"You don't think that's a little strange?" I asked while grabbing my juice and twisting the cap open.

"Now that you say that that is a little strange to be honest," Darrin pointed out as he looked up to the ceiling as if he was in deep thought.
