Zariana cruz:

As I sat there longer than expected I had no choice but to look around the shop and be nosey. Soon getting tired of looking at the bright graffiti on the ways, I made my way over to Chris and stood beside him as he continued to cut Darrin's hair.

"What's wrong baby sis?" Darrin asked as he try to look back as much as possible before Chris turned his head back forward.

"I'm bored Darrin, I could be at work right now," I sighed heavily. Even though something got oddly strange I could be at the diner trying to make some money.

"Chill Z you are not going back to that place I promise you that," He said sternly.

"Man, Darrin I need a job. I need something to keep me occupied for a while."

"You can work for me."

Darrin and I looked up at Chris then back at each other.

"Nah, I'm good. Thanks for the offer though," I nodded while running my hands down my pants. I couldn't work for him, not after what I saw today, before even working for him or being around him longer I need to find out more about him. More about everything.

"You sure?" Chris arched one of his brows with a smile.

"Yeah I'm sure," Nodding my head I rocked back and forth on my heels as I placed my hands in my pocket.

Hearing the doorbell go off all our heads turned into that direction only to see the rest of Chris workers and a female that looked like somebody I knew, just couldn't put my finger on it.

"What's up Chris," A brown skin guy walked up to Chris to give him a dap, almost bumping into me.

"What's up Sean," Chris chuckled while licking his lips.

I glared up at him waiting to say excuse me, but he didn't. That was a pet peeve of mines, don't act like you didn't see me and didn't have the audacity to say excuse me.

"Your excused," I snapped with my arms folded. "Act like you didn't see me and shit, you're rude as hell."

"Do I know you?" He arched his brow before looking at Chris. "This one of your hoes or something?"

Nudging my eye brows together, I laughed lowly and shook my head.

"Just because you don't know me nigga, do not give you the right to call me a hoe and no I'm not one of his hoes, I don't even know this nigga so run along to your little station, learn some manners that I know your momma taught you, and cut some hair. Now get the fuck out my face," Scoffing I couldn't believe how rude these people are up here.

"And bi-"

"Don't call my sister no bitch," Darrin looked over at him. "You shouldn't have called her a hoe in the first place."

"And nigga who are you?" The guy stated with his hands balled up.

"Sean, go to your station. These are my people, disrespect my people one more time and I'm coming for your ass, respect is key in here," Chris warned.

"Man, but Chris-"

"Ain't no man but Chris nothing go to your damn station and listen to what I say before you end up without a job," Chris pointed in his direction before finally lining up Darrins hair.

"Man whatever," Sean mumbled before walking off.

Hearing another ding I looked in that direction to see another girl dressed in a long sleeve dress with some Chanel boots and Chanel shades on her face.
