*Alison's POV*

I woke up feeling excited and well rested. I hopped out of bed and jumped in the shower, sighing in content as the warm water rushed down my body. After my shower I changed into my outfit for the day and jogged downstairs, seeing everyone at the table eating.

Ali's outfit:

"Good morning everyone," I said cheerfully

"Good morning everyone," I said cheerfully.

"Hm, someone sure seems to be in a good mood," dad said.

"Yeah, it's obviously because of Jacob," Dylan smirked. I glared at him and kicked his leg, making him grunt in pain. I giggled as both my mom and dad gave him a weird look.

"Oh Ali honey, I signed you up for school, so you start tomorrow," my mom told me, making me groan. Ugh, I hate school with a passion.

"Ugh do I have to go?" I whined, making mom roll her eyes and gave me a look that said 'don't even ask me that.'

"I'm pretty sure you'll make some new friends," mom encouraged, making me mentally roll my eyes. Yeah, we'll see. I just sighed and took a bite of my apple. There was a knock at the door, signaling that Jake was here and my mood was suddenly uplifted. I ran to the door and opened it, revealing Jake.

"Hey, you ready to go?" he asked with a smile and I nodded, returning his smile.

"Bye guys I'll be home sometime later," I called out to my parents and Jake and I set out to town. Once we arrived, he started showing me all the different little diners and stores.

"Okay now those are the restaurants and diners over there and over here you have a couple of book stores," Jake said, pointing to each building. A small smile was on my face as we walked through the little plaza; it was so cute! After walking around for about 10 minutes, my stomach started growling, which made Jake laugh and I immediately started blushing. Curse you, stomach.

"Are you hungry? I can get my dad to make sandwiches," Jake offered. I thought about it for a moment and nodded my head with a smile. Jake's eyes lit up with happiness, making me giggle. Aw, he's so cute!

"Cool let's go," he said excitedly. He eagerly grabbed my hand and started guiding me to his house. Within about 10 minutes, we arrived at a small red house. It was kind of cute if you ask me. We both walked inside and I was immediately greeted with that 'homey' feeling.

"Hey dad I'm home and I brung Ali with me," Jake called out. His dad knows who I am? A man in a wheelchair wheeled himself into the room and I was shocked to see the creepy, yet fascinating resemblance between him and Jake. This man is obviously Jake's dad. He had long black hair, tan skin like Jake, and kind brown eyes.

"Hello, sir my name is Alison, but you can call me Ali," I smiled. "It's lovely to meet you and you can call me Billy. Sir makes me feel old," the man chuckled and shook my hand.

"That's because you ARE old," Jake teased with a smirk, making me giggle.

"Jake hasn't stopped talking about you. He couldn't wait to see you again and I can see that he wasn't lying when he said that you were pretty," Billy said, which made my eyes widen in shock and my cheeks were dusted with blush. Did Jake really say that I was pretty? My rhetorical question was confirmed when I saw Jake's cheeks lightly dusted with blush.

"Oh dad," he whined as his cheeks turned a darker shade of red.

"Help yourself to some sandwiches if you wish," Billy offered.

"Oh thanks," I smiled. We all ate and chatted about random stuff. Billy is such a nice man and I could've sworn I heard him mumble to Jake "hm I like her this one's a keeper. You two would make a great couple", which made Jake blush furiously. Hm, first my mom and now Billy are saying that Jake and I would make a great couple. What's up with that?

Later around 4:30, Jake and I started walking back to my house. "So, what school are you going to?" Jake asked.

"I'm going to the high school on the reservation. I actually start there tomorrow," I told him.

"Oh really? What a coincidence, I go there," Jake said with a smile and I beamed at the thought that I would already know someone on my first day.

"If you want, I can show you where your classes are," he suggested eagerly. I nodded in agreement and saw my house come into view.

"Well, I guess I have to go," I said sadly.

"Oh okay, see you tomorrow at school," Jake said and I waved him goodbye, but he stopped me.

"Oh wait, can I have your number?" he asked shyly. I nodded with red cheeks and we both exchanged numbers and headed our separate ways. When I got home, I closed the door and went to the kitchen.

"Hey honey you're just in time for dinner," mom said as she set down some meatloaf on the table.

"Did you have fun today?" dad asked.

"Yeah I had fun," I smiled.

"Of course she had fun: she was with her boyfri-" I sent Dylan a sharp kick in the knee, making him groan in pain and I smirked in satisfaction.

"Well, you two better head to bed. You both have school tomorrow," mom said. I glanced at the clock seeing that it was almost 7 o'clock. After dinner, I took a shower and changed into my pajams. Once it hit 10 o'clock, I fell asleep.
