*Alison's POV*

"It seems that police  have discovered five dead bodies by an old dumpster in the Seattle area. They're still looking for the possible suspect and eyewitnesses of the incident. A young teen, Riley Biers, has mysteriously disappeared just last night. It was said that he was last seen at a local bar. If you happen to have any information, call 891-439-6491. That's all for Washington News."

"Whoa, that's crazy," Dylan said as he turned the TV off.

"Yeah, I know," I murmured as I ran a hand through my hair. Something was a bit suspicious about that murder in Seattle. Why would the bodies be stored near a dumpster? Wouldn't the suspect try to hide them somewhere secluded? Could the murderer be a vampire? Or what if-

"Ali!" I heard Dylan say, making me snap out of my thoughts.

"Y-Yeah?" I asked as I looked at him.

"Are you okay? I thought I lost you for a sec," he teased with a laugh.

"Oh heh-heh yeah I'm okay. I was just thinking," I said, which wasn't a complete lie.

"Well, you were thinking awfully hard. Be careful not to hurt your brain," he smirked and I just scoffed and rolled my eyes. I glanced at the clock and noticed that it was a little over 12:30.

"I think I'm going to head over to Jake's house," I said as I stood up from the couch.

"Okay, but be careful," Dylan said.

"Sure thing," I told him as I shrugged on my jacket and walked out the door, making sure to lock it behind me and began my walk to Jake's house. I got there in a little under ten minutes and felt a smile grow on my face as the familiar small red house came in view. Once I approached the door, I gently rapped my fist on the door. Moments later, the door swung open to reveal Jake wearing a pair of sweatpants. Hooray he's shirtless! Shame on you, Ali! Hey, I mean can you really blame me? A large grin spread across his face and he engulfed me in a bear hug. (A/N I would love for a guy to hug me like this like OMLOMLOMLOML!!! Okay....back to the story........)

"Great to see you, Als," he said happily

"Great to see you, Als," he said happily.

"It's great to see you, too Jake, but you've GOT to let me breathe," I rasped.

"Oops sorry," he chuckled and set me down. A low growl came from my stomach, making me blush.

"Looks like someone's hungry. Luckily for us, my dad's making his famous grilled cheese sandwiches," Jake winked. He grabbed my hand and led me to the kitchen. We both sat down just as Billy set down plates of grilled cheese with a sliced tomato on the side.

"Thanks Billy! This looks delicious," I smiled and he smiled in return. I took a bite and almost moaned in pleasure. This tasted amazing! I watched in amusement as Jake was practically shoving the grilled cheese in his mouth.
