Finally, today is Friday!! I'm so glad it's the end of the week. I hopped out of bed and got in the shower. After my shower, I changed into my outfit and headed downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast.

After finishing my bowl of cereal, I washed my dishes, grabbed my bag, and walked out the door, making sure to lock it behind me. By the time I got there, I noticed that there weren't a lot of people in the hallways. I mean it's still a bit early. I headed to my locker and went to english once I got everything I needed. I walked in the classroom to see about 5 or 6 people either chatting amongst themselves or doing last minute homework. My eyes scanned the room until they landed on one particular person. Jake was slumped over his desk sound asleep, making me mentally giggle. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his shoulders. I felt his body tense until it relaxed when he noticed it was me.
"Hey sleepy head," I giggled as I kissed his cheek and sat down next to him.
"Hey, I'll have you know that I wasn't sleeping. I was simply resting my eyes," he retorted and I could hear the sleep that was still in his voice, making it sound husky. Shivers of pleasure shot up my spine.
"Ha-ha yeah okay. Tell that to your messy hair," I teased and ruffled my hands in his hair, which made him chuckle. He pried my hands off his hair, but continued holding my hands, intertwining our fingers together.
"So, I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me tonight?" he asked and I could hear the slight nervousness in his voice. Aw, he's so cute!!
"Of course I would," I gleamed, which made him smile and bring me into a bone-crushing hug.
"Great! I'll pick you up around 6," he said and pulled away to peck my nose, making me giggle.
"Alright that sounds good. Should I wear something casual or fancy?" I asked.
"Casual's good," he said. I nodded and made that a mental note.
"Where are we going?" I questioned.
"That's for me to know and for you to find out later," he winked. More people began trickling in the classroom with loud chatter and laughter. Class began as soon as the bell rung and Mr. Wordsworth began with his lesson for the day. I sat in my seat feeling utterly excited about our date later tonight.

"Anyone home?" I called out as I walked through the door.
"In here, sweetie," I heard my mom say from the living room. I locked the door and tossed my bag in the kitchen chair. I made my way to the living room to see mom sitting on the couch reading a magazine.
"How was your day?" she asked as she set the magazine down.
"It was okay and you won't believe what happened today," I told her as I sat down beside her.
