*Alison's POV*

Today, Jake and I were going to start our wedding planning. We were laying across the floor in the living room with papers and binders spread across the floor.

"Alright, so where should we have the wedding?" Jake asked.

"Oh, how about the beach?" I suggested, making him look at me in curiosity.

"What made you come up with that?" he wondered.

"I never wanted to have a wedding at a church like everyone else. I wanted our wedding to be different than everyone else's. Plus, I feel like having a wedding at the beach makes the whole thing more romantic," I explained. Jake thought about for a minute and he looked at me with a small smile.

"Okay, we can have the wedding at the beach," he finalized and wrote that down.

"Good! Now, where should we have the reception?" I asked.

"Hmm...we could have it at the Cullen's," Jake suggested. My eyebrows rose in both surprise and shock.

"Jake, I thought you hated the Cullen's," I pointed out.

"No, I just don't particularly like them," he corrected with a smirk, making me playfully roll my eyes.

"Well, since they have an enormous, backyard, we can have it at their house," I said as I jotted that down.

"Partying with the leeches, that should be fun," he snorted. I scowled at him and playfully slapped him on the back of his head.

"What'd you do that for?" he whined as he rubbed the "soar" spot.

"Be nice," I pointed my pen at him.

"Meanie," he mumbled under his breath. I sighed to myself and gently kissed the top of his head.

"I think you missed," he said as he pointed to his lips.

"Nice try, mister. We've got stuff to get done. Now, what should our colors be?" I asked.

"I think blue's a nice color, like maybe a royal blue," Jake offered.

"Oh! That'd be pretty and then maybe the black and white could blend it together," I added.

"Yeah, that works," Jake said and wrote that down.

"We make a good team," I grinned and he grinned in return as we both shared a high five. After a while, I could tell that Jake was ready for a break by the way he kept squirming trying to make himself comfortable.

"Are you okay?" I giggled.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he said and then winced. Fine, my foot.

"Jake, if you want us to take a break, then we can," I said as I tried to swallow down my giggles. I giggled harder once he automatically stood up and began stretching. He sighed in relief as a couple of bones in his back and legs cracked. I looked at the clock and noticed it was a little after 3:00.

"What do you want to do now?" I asked.

"We could chill in the swimming pool out back," he said. I automatically agreed to the idea and changed into a two-piece.
