*Alison's POV*

I woke up feeling depressed, tired, and empty. The argument that Jake and I had last night was still fresh in my mind. Did he really regret imprinting on me? The sound of my phone vibrating brought me out of my thoughts. I picked it up seeing that it was a text from Alice.

Alice: I'll be at your house in a few minutes. We need to go the field where the fight will occur.

I quickly replied with an 'ok' and got in the shower. After my shower, I changed into my outfit for the day.

After changing into my outfit, I headed downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed an apple

After changing into my outfit, I headed downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed an apple. After about ten minutes, I heard a knock on my door. I walked over to the door and opened it to reveal Alice.

"Hey, you ready to go?" she asked me.

"Ready as I'll ever be," I muttered and we were off. I made sure to leave a note on the counter saying that I was spending the night over at Jake's. Hopefully, they didn't hear us in my room last night. When we got there, I spotted Jasper and a shirtless Jake. Wait wait hold on...what the heck is HE doing here? His face is the last thing I want to see right now. Wow, okay that sounded a lot harsher than I thought. Okay, Ali, you can shut up now!

"What's going on?" I questioned with furrowed eyebrows.

"We came up with a plan," Jasper said, " we need to lure the newborns to this spot with your scent, so your scent needs to end here." I nodded, waiting for him to say more.

"What we did was set out a campsite up in the mountains where you can stay for the night. We'll be staying up there with you, but the only problem is that they would be able to follow your scent," Alice explained.

"Jacob's scent, however, is revolting," Jasper added with a look of disgust.

"Dude, you really don't want to start comparing stinks," Jake snapped.

"What exactly does this lead us to?" I questioned in annoyance at Jake's rudeness.

"Jacob is going to carry you up to the mountains so that his scent will end up covering up your scent," Jasper said. A small smirk made its way to Jake's face.

"Wait, HE'S going to be carrying me?! This isn't a good idea," I said, crossing my arms.

"Well, this is the only plan we're following and besides, they won't want to get anywhere near his...odor," Jasper said grimacing.

"We'd be willing to go with your plan, that is if you even have one," Alice said with raised eyebrows. She does have a point there.

"Ugh fine, let's just get this over with," I grumbled. Jake's smirk grew bigger as he walked towards me and swiftly picked me up bridal style. I ignored the electric sparks that flew throughout my body at his touch.
