"We should probably head to the headmaster's office." I told Erza, interrupting her conversation with Shura. She looked over at everyone and nodded. "Yes we should." She looked over at Natsu and Gray. "You are getting along aren't you?" She asked, an evil glint her eyes. Both boys stop, and hug each other sideways. "Yep! Getting along perfectly!" "Aye sir!" I roll my eyes at their foolishness.
As we began our walk, we passed some bits of iron rods from the broken ride. "Hm." I bent down and picked up some of the smaller pieces. "What are those for?" Gray asked me. I glanced over at him. "Hm? Oh, they're for Gajeel. You know, he'd probably want some." I told them. Shura, Yukio and Rin had left, telling us they had to be somewhere, so Shiemi was guiding us to where we needed to be.
As we walked through school grounds, the kids we passed, stared at us. Some whispering, some making way for us, and some...well attempting a whisper. I could hear them as clear as day. "Who are they?" "Why are they wearing armor?" I roll my eyes at all their questions. For once, could I hear some unique questions. They are all the same. I look down at Shiemi, seeing how uncomfortable she looked.
"Um, Shiemi." I spoke up. She looked up at me. "Y-yes?" She stuttered. I quietly chuckled at her shyness. "What's wrong? Why do you appear so uncomfortable?" I asked. Before she could respond, Natsu had spoken up. "Is it the stripper?" Shiemi jumped. "W-what?!" She blushed dark red. "Gray. Your clothes." He looked down and screamed, taking off searching for his clothes. I smile, then turn back to Shiemi. "Now, why are you really acting like this?" I ask.
She looks down at her hands and smiles shyly. "Oh, well. It's nothing big. It's just the clothes I'm wearing. I'm not very used to them, I'm usually wearing a kimono, but I could hardly move around in it, so I asked for the school uniform. I'm still getting used to it." She told me in a quiet voice. I smile down at her. "Well, when did you start wearing the uniform?" I asked. "Today." I laughed, catching her attention. "Shiemi. It's going to take a while to get used to, not just in a day. For years, I wore a cloak, and it took a while for me to get used to not having it on. I'm still getting used to it." I tell her. She stared up at me, then gave me and closed eyes smile. I returned to the expression.
~Time Skip~
We had finally returned to Magnolia. We had sorted everything out with Mr. Faust. He told us that the group from the academy had bent assigned the request two days before, and he had just found out about us today, after they had already left.
We got off the train again, Erza dragging Natsu, making sure he doesn't get caught there for another ride. We made our way back to the guild hall. Exchanging some words, and having some small conversations. Happy was sat on Natsu's shoulder, while I held E/n in my arms. "Y/n."
E/n said. I looked down to him. "Hm." "What do you want to do when we get back to the guild?" He asked. "Hm. I don't know yet. I was just kind of planning on sitting at the bar, and entertain myself by listen to Cana talk drunkly." I laughed at what I had said.
We entered the guild to find it in another fight. I rolled my eyes and laughed at my guild mates. It certainly doesn't get boring here. I took the bag of jewels, and dumped it out on the table, splitting the money between the four of us. Each of us getting 200 hundred jewels. Not very much in my opinion, but it doesn't really matter. I put each group of jewels in separate bags and handed them to their selective person. When I was finished, I placed my own bag of jewels in a large leather bag that I carry around with me.
I then take out the couple iron bars that I had brought for Gajeel. I looked around the guild, but couldn't see the Iron dragon slayer anywhere. My eyebrows furrowed. I walked up to Mira who was standing behind the Bar. "Hey, Mira. Where's Gajeel?" I asked.
She fell silent. "Mira?" "He's in the infirmary." Panther Lily told me. I looked down at the black exceed. "Why? What happened while we were gone?" I ask worriedly. "He was attacked. Not even on a request mission. He got beat up pretty bad." He told me. My eyes widened. I spun around and jogged towards the infirmary.
When I found Gajeel's room, I knocked slightly, waiting for a response that granted me passage. "What do you want shrimp?" Was all I heard. I opened the door. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not Levy." I told him. He looked at me. "What do you want?" He asked me. "Well, I just heard about what happened. Hope you get better, and I did bring some iron bars for you from the request mission I was just on." I said, placing it on the table that was next to his bed.
I pulled up a chair and sat next to his bed. "So, tell me what happened." He gave me a look. "Why do you want to know?" He asked me. "Well, you are my guild mate, and, I want to make sure it wasn't someone I know and despise." I told him.
He sighed and nodded. "Fine, fine. Whatever girlie. It was some dude." He told me. I gave him an annoyed look. "You're going to have to tell me more than that." I dead lab. He rolled his eyes. "All that happened was I felt a burning pain, starting in my chest and spreading throughout my body. Some cuts appeared on my arms but no one was making contact with me. Team Shadow Gear found me on the ground outside of the guild hall. A man, well some guy, maybe 19 or 20 years old, came out of an alley. He had burgundy like hair, black eyes and 2 piercings on 1 one of his ears. Is that helpful?" He asked. I nodded, my eyes burning with anger. "Very." I said, standing and exiting the room. "Does that mean you know him?!" He yelled to me. I stopped, not looking at him and nodded, then left.
