A Fight~Chapter 18

I woke up to the sound of a large thump. My eyes sprung open. I looked around and saw that Akina was still in bed and E/n was laying in his small bed at the end of my own. I quieted my breaths and listened for anymore sounds. I was met with the sound of someone rummaging through drawers along with footsteps. I steadily and quietly pulled off my covers, and swung my legs around to rest my feet on the ground, exposing me in my pajamas.

I stood up, trying to walk silently over to the door. I placed my dominant hand on the knob, and lit my other hand aflame. I slowly opened the door and walked on the balls of my feet out of Akina's and my room. I requipped a sword into my now free hand, ready to kill anyone who had broken into my house. I rounded a corner to find someone rummaging through my kitchen cupboards. Because I had just awoken, my eyesight was still a bit blurry, so I wasn't able to tell who it was.

I pressed the end of the blade of my sword on the back of the neck of the person. "Who are you and why are you in my house?" I hiss. I heard a familiar laugh. "Jeez, y/n. Calm down. I'm just looking for some food." My eyesight finally cleared up and I stared at the pinkette. I stare turned to a glare and I stopped using my magic. I grabbed Natsu by the back of his shirt.

"Akina!" I yell out. I heard the young girl jump out of bed and push open the window. I stomp into my room and threw Natsu out of the window. I watched as he fell a full two stories. I laughed when he hit the ground with a splat.

"Ow." He groaned, making me laugh harder. I closed the window behind me, turned and started getting dressed. After brushing my hair, and putting my shoes on, I threw on my cloak, tying the string around my neck, keeping it on, but I never pulled up the hood. I stared down at the cloth that I've had for years, that brought me so many memories. Some that made me smile, some that brought tears to my eyes and some that did both. I turned to my younger sister who held my exceed and I smiled at her.

"Let's go to the guild!" She smiled and nodded. She followed me out of the apartment. I looked over and found Natsu still on the ground. I rolled my eyes and grabbed him by the back of his shirt and dragged him behind me. I heard him groan, but he didn't get up. Soon enough we found ourselves in front of the guild hall. "Home sweet home." I smile, my eyes flickering to look at Akina, who had a large smile spread across her lips. First master Mavis was right, she does seem a lot happier now that I am known as just Y/n instead of Shadow. I'm glad I am no longer hiding myself and going by that silly nickname.

I glance back at the unconscious, hyper dragon slayer I've been dragging behind me for the past ten minutes. I smile a small smile at the boy, before turning and opening the guild doors, just to be met with chaos. As per usual. "GO!" I scream, about to throw the fire mage headfirst into the fight, until his voice made me stop.

"WAIT! FIGHT ME FIRST!" I stopped, and let go of his collar. He spun around and faced me. "Fight me!" He screamed, catching the attention of most everyone. Everyone turned and stared at Natsu like he was an alien. He had just challenged another S-class mage. One he has never defeated, or even gotten close to. He had just barely defeated Laxus, a dragon slayer, and has matched with Erza, a requip mage. How can he possible defeat a dragon slayer that also uses requip magic? I sigh and glance at Mira, who gave me a closed eyed smile. I turned to Erza who had her hands on her hips as she smirked. I rolled my eyes and put my hands up in surrender.

"Fine. But, outside." I told the pinkette. I watched as Natsu fist bumped the air. I shook my head as followed behind Natsu as I exited the guild hall with Akina and the rest of my guild mates that are here, following behind Natsu and I. As I walked, I untied the string of my cloak, allowing it to almost fall to the ground. I quickly caught it and handed to my brother, who had just made himself known by cheering me on. The two of us were surrounded by everyone else, either cheering on Natsu, or me.
