Sorry this is really short. I'm trying to think of something.

I drag my feet forward, to the large guild hall doors. I could hear Natsu groaning as he followed behind me, exhausted from the travel from our last task. Gray rolled his eyes at us and pushed past me to open the guild doors. Immediately, I was met with the sounds of the bustling guild hall. Before I could even take a step inside, I heard my name be yelled aloud.

"Y/n!" I look up to see Laxus waltzing towards me with a large smirk. I stand up straight and raise an eyebrow at him. He only greets me like this if he wants something, or if he wants to challenge me to something.

"What are you up to, Sparky?" I ask, suspicious of his intentions.

"Just wanting to spend time with my favorite guild mate!" He exclaimed as he draped an arm over my shoulders. I furrowed my eyebrows, but he ignored my confusion and guided me to a table.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I question.

"Saving your ass." His hisses quietly.

"What?" I exclaim, becoming even more confused.

"A specific ice mage from Lamia Scale is visiting, and I don't think he is crushing on Juvia any more." Laxus sighs, keeping me from turning around to glance at the mage in question.

"What do you mean?" I ask him.

"I heard Lyon has some heart eyes for a specific h/c haired dragon slayer." Laxus said. While I understood what Laxus was implying, I still did not know why he was acting this way.

    "And?"

"And I don't want that psychotic crusher here any longer than he needs to be. Last time, he froze my beer." Laxus growls, getting fed up with my questions. I let out a loud laugh, until Laxus clamps his hand over my mouth. "If he doesn't see you, he will go away. So shut your mouth."

I deadpan. I roll my eyes and pull his hand away from my face. "Fine. Fine. I'll be quiet."

"Good. Stay here. I'm grabbing a beer." Laxus huffed as he stood up.

"Grab me one." I told him, but he made no response.
