The Bank~Chapter 13

I groaned as I sat up in bed. As I stretched, I accidentally woke up e/n. "Oops, sorry buddy." I apologised. He said nothing as he curled up in my lap again. I chuckled but soon quieted down when I glanced over at Akina's sleeping form. I carefully picked e/n up off me so I could stand, then placed him back down on the bed.

I walked over to my dresser and grabbed (favorite outfit) then made my way over to the bathroom to shower and change. When I got out of the shower, I quickly change, dried my hair, brushed my teeth, washed my face, etc. Once I was finished with my morning routine I woke up e/n who immediately jumped on my shoulder and nuzzled his head into my neck. I turn to Akina, who was still sleeping. I took a piece of paper and a pen, writing a note saying that I would be on a quick job. I placed it down on the table next to her bed.

The walk to the guild was quiet and peaceful. The men in the boat in the river calling out a greeting to which I replied a kind greeting back. There wasn't a lot of people out and about yet because of how early it was. I did fall asleep early, causing me to awake early. I sigh at the memories of what happened the day before. I shook my head, trying to forget about it.

I entered the guild, not surprised that there weren't many people there. Just me, Gramps, Mirajane, Macao and Wakaba. I smile at all them. "Hey guys." I greet to which they return it. "Hi y/n! What are you up to this morning?" Mira asked me sweetly. I smiled at her as I walked to the S-class request board. "Another mission." I tell them. "Already? You just returned from one the day before." Macao asked. I sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I kinda need to get my mind off of something." I took a random request and walked over to mirajane. Gramps stood up on top of the bar. "You know child, if you need to talk to anyone about something, we are all here for you. Probably preferable to talk to any of us," he gestured to the guild members in the guild at the current moment. I smiled at him. "I know. Thanks Gramps." Mira looked over the request, allowing me to go on ahead and take it.

I exited the guild, rereading the paper. "A group of powerful women have ambushed a bank. Very powerful. They've had control over it for 3 weeks and no one is allowed to leave. 2 million jewel." U mutter to myself. I woke up e/n on my shoulder. I slowly got up. "Okay. So what are we doing now?" He asked. I held up the paper, allowing him to read it. "So do you think you can fly us over?" I ask. He nods and picks me up by the back of my shirt. E/n and I had a short conversation on the fly over.

He flew closer to the ground then let me go. I landed easily on the ground then walked closer to the bank with e/n flying behind me. As I was walking there, I heard someone following behind me. I requipped a small dagger into my hand. I spun around, grabbed the person by their shirt and pushed them against the wall with the dagger against their neck. "Woah. Woah. Hey dear, you know, I knew you were always so forceful." I growled as I glared at Drake. "What are you doing here and why are you following me?" I snap. He smiles innocently. "Am I not allowed to make sure my fiancé is okay and safe?"

"I'm not your fiancé!"

"I didn't agree to calling it off."

"I don't even have the ring!"

"Where is it?"

"On the ground. A pile of molten metal."

"That's okay, I can always get you another."

"I don't freaking want to marry you!"

"Well too bad! You have to, or people die!"

"Don't threaten me!" I pull away from him, getting rid of the dagger.

"Please just leave me alone." I beg.

"No! I will marry you, I promise you that!" He growled before disappearing. I sighed, rubbing my face with my hands. E/n landed on my shoulder. "You okay?" He asked worriedly. "Yeah, yeah. Let's just get to the bank."
