"Formalities huh? And am I not allowed to be in a public field?" His shit eating smirk returned.
"Yes, formalities. Did you think we would be close enough to call each other by first name? And, you can be here, but why would you choose this specific spot in this large field? Why, when I am already here?"
"You intrigue me Y/n." He responded.
"Great, I'm flattered, Sting, but I have nothing to say to my competition. So good night, don't let the exceeds bite." I snarl before pushing past him, E/n flying behind me.

"Why the hell did we let Gajeel enter this competition? It's literally called Chariot!" I exclaimed.
"No idea." Laxus sighed. I groan as I leaned back in the chair that I had formed out of rocks and vines.
"Does it affect you too Laxus? What about you Y/n?" Mira suddenly asked.
"Just don't let Natsu know. He'd never let it down." Laxus admitted.
"From time to time." I also admit that I can sometimes be affected by my motion sickness. I roll my eyes at Natsu's and Gajeel's dramatic yells as they try to muster up the strength to pull themselves along on the chariot. "MOVE YOUR FUCKING ASSES!" I cup my hands over my mouth to yell at them."I don't get it. Can you explain something to me? Why do you even bother entering the tournament? Seriously, I mean, you're nothing like the Fairy Tail guild I knew growing up. You're obsessed with how tough you are and what the rest of the world thinks of you. What happened to the fairy tail of my childhood? The guild did whatever the hell they wanted, whenever they wanted. They never cared what anybody else said and thought of them." Sting finished his speech, catching me off guard. Since when did he grow a heart?
"The reason we're here is for our friends- the ones who waited for us for all the years we were gone. Who fought through the pain and the heart ache. They were humiliated but even so, they stayed strong and they kept our guild together. We're doing this for all of them we're gonna make sure that everyone here knows THE FAIRY TAIL GUILD NEVER GAVE UP! NOT EVEN FOR AN INSTANT, SO THERE'S NO WAY THAT I'M GONNA GIVE UP NOW!" Everyone was extremely touched by Natsu's speech, but I'm not normal and instead of crying, I let out a loud cheer that could be heard easily in the silence. I continued to let out loud yells until Natsu and Gajeel finally crossed the finish line.
As soon as the next fight began, I exited my team's sitting area because I honestly didn't care who won and who lost. I knew who neither of the competitors were and frankly, I didn't care at all.
