The Avatar~ Chapter 37

"I can't FUCKING believe you made us miss the train!" I yelled, marching down the street with Natsu, Happy, E/n, Gray, and Lyon following behind me. I abruptly plan my feet and pivot a full 180° to face the boys. "And," I point at Lyon, "I can't believe you followed us!" I seethe. Lyon's eyes widen before he smirks and leans forward, his face coming about an inch away from my pointer finger still pointing at him.

"I can't trust these numbskulls with my queen." He attempted to say smoothly. My eye twitched. I said nothing but spun around to continue marching forward angrily, pulling my hood over my head.

"Nice job, flame brain. You ate so much you made us miss the second train to the city! Now we are, I don't even know where." I heard Gray scold Natsu, to which Natsu began to yell insults back. I guided the group into a forest, hoping to god I was going in the right direction to the city we were supposed to be in.

"Gray! But a goddamn shirt on!" I yell.

"SHIT!"

~THIRD PERSON~

Toph shushed her group at the sound of talking. Katara, Aang, and Zuko fell silent almost immediately while Sokka remained oblivious and continued ranting about who knows what. When Katara found that Sokka had not gotten the message she slapped her hand over her brother's mouth, effectively shutting him up. The group heard a female voice.

"Natsu, I swear if you do not shut your fucking mouth I will equip a knife and shove it up your a-"

"Then tell Gray to stop stepping on my heels!" A salmon haired male cut the female off with his complaint.

"If you didn't walk so goddamn slow then I wouldn't be practically stepping on you like the fire ant you are." A dark hair, bare chested male spoke smugly, angering the salmon haired boy.

"SAY THAT AGAIN ICE CUBE!" Natsu yelled as he promptly raised a flame covered fist. Zuko took note of the male, and mentally classified him as a fire bender.

"FIRE ANT!"

"SNOWFLAKE!" The brawl between the two males caused the white haired male and the female to stop walking and turn their attention to their group members.

The group that is sometimes referred to as Team Avatar watches as the white haired male wraps his arm around the female and says, "Aren't you glad I am not as childish as these idiots? I bet that what you want in love is maturity." The female stepped away from the male. It was clear that she was losing all of her patience as she smacked both the fighting boys on their heads.

"What the heck Y/n?!" Natsu yelled. Seeing the wild look on Natsu's face, Y/n couldn't help but laugh and dismiss his question. She merely turned around and signaled for the other boys and the two exceeds to follow behind her. Team Avatar silently agreed to follow the group. Aang jumped to a tree branch, leaving his team on the ground to follow the group by foot, Toph relying on Katara to guide her so she did not accidentally make her presence known to the mages.

~Your Point of View~

I walked forward, internally planning how to keep the group from fighting. Natsu and Gray will fight, and Gray and Lyon will definitely fight. Lyon will throw a fit if I have him walk next to Natsu instead of me. At this point I'm tempted to sew their lips shut. I glanced to E/n and smiled at him.

As I was about to say something to him, I heard the sound of a twig breaking. I falter and look back at my team. Lyon stood directly behind me and appeared to be clueless of the sound I heard. Gray also appeared oblivious, as Natsu and I shared knowing looks. I pulled Lyon closer to me as Natsu pulled Gray over so they stood next to me.

Lyon stood at my left, Gray to my right, and Natsu on the other side of Gray. E/n sat on my shoulder and Happy was flying above Natsu's head. I signalled for E/n to take Happy with him to fly around the area in search for who ever is following us. I then told the team to keep walking.

Not even a minute later, Natsu stopped walking. "Fire Dragon ROAR!" Natsu yelled, spitting fire from his mouth at a tree to his right. Quickly, four kids stepped out from behind the tree.

The tallest was a boy with brown hair and what appears to be a burn mark over his left eye. Next to him was an average height female with brown hair, wearing a blue dress. On the other side of the tree was a male who looked similar to the female in blue, also wearing blue. Next to him was a short female with black hair, wearing green and gold garments.

Happy and E/n flew towards us again. Natsu, Gray and Lyon all got in fighting positions, but I stopped them from attacking. "Who are you and why are you following us?" I demanded. The girl in blue stepped forward and spoke up.

"I am Katara of the southern water tribe. This is my brother Sokka, this is Toph of the Earth Kingdom, and this is Zuko of the Fire Nation." I ignored her classification of areas labeled on different elements as it made no sense to me. Zuko then spoke up.

"We saw him fire bend. We suspected you were from the Fire Nation."

    "But, aren't you from the fire nation?" Gray asked. Zuko glared at Gray but gave no response.

    "Who are you?" Sokka asked, raising his blades as though he were about to attack.
