Third person's POV
____Four weeks later____
"Are you sure this is the for the best?" Athena asked her father as she looked at him from her throne.
Zeus let out an annoyed sigh and glared at his daughter.
"Don't question me. I'm the king." He said looking around the nearly empty throne room. Hestia sat far away tending the hearth quietly. Hestia glanced at them once in a while, but when Zeus locked eyes with her. All he could see was fire burning deep within them. He could see anger and disappointment in her fiery orbs.
He looked away from her and looked at his daughter Athena who looked worried.
"I know you're the king, but think about it. Perseus is a strong demigod. Powers or not. He can kill monsters. And let's not forget about the time he was in Tartarus with Annabeth. He controlled poison! You and I both know a child of Poseidon cannot control poison." She exclaimed pacing around. Her thoughts were troubled.
"Someone powerful can get to him." Athena said suddenly. Zeus looked at her with a raised brow.
"And why would anyone want that demigod?" He asked dully. Athena looked at her father in disbelief. Suddenly a rumbling laughter shook the throne room causing Athena to nearly lose balance. A deep laughter that sounded like mountains being clashed together. Shaking the throne room.
Zeus took out his lightning bolt as he looked around troubled. Not knowing where it was coming from.
"Oh, that's sad." The voice spoke. Athena looked to her left to see a young-looking man walk out. He seemed to be around his 20s. He had eyes that held the entire universe within them. It seemed to suck in the light around them. Athena looked at the man with realization and began to bow slowly. Much to the man's amusement.
"Chaos." She said with a shaky voice. Zeus looked at the man whose name was Chaos as he dropped his bolt on the ground. A few sparks flew out as it hit the ground. Creating a black stain on the white glossy floor.
"Your right goddess of wisdom. Perseus is a strong young man with many abilities. But your wrong on one thing. He is no longer son of Poseidon. I placed my own son of birth within him. To raise him within a body. To my disbelief, you all falsely accuse the heir of the universe of treason against a tiny kingdom. You let a girl nearly destroy the goodness in his heart. What do you think will happen if he lost all and his emotions of sadness, and anger and revenge harden his heart as time took over?" He asked his eyes blazing over with power. The power itself emitted in huge wave causing Zeus and Hestia to be forced into a bow.
"Well go on answer." He ordered. Athena let out a small whimper as the words tried to forced themselves out her mouth. But before she could answer Chaos stepped on her hand. A sickening crunch was heard before she let out a scream of pain.
"I'll tell you." He roared out.
"Perseus could have become a killing machined with no emotion ties to his humanity. He's not a demigod anymore. He's a primordial. A powerful one that can destroy this planet with a snap of his finger." Chaos growled out.
"Idiots. All you. I believe Hades should have been king, with Hestia giving him advice." Chaos muttered removing his foot off Athena's hand.
Athena cried in pain as she looked at her hand. Her fingers twisted in angels inhumanly possible.
She looked up at him with tears in her eyes. His words registering in her mind.
"Could have?" She asked softly. Chaos smiled at her coldly.
