"She's gone." With those two simple words, Novice had enough, everything around him seemed to disappear as he began to stare blankly at the wall in his room.

"Gone," he muttered while losing that princely posture he's forced to hold all day, and every day.

For once he let his guard down.

'She's gone.' The constant repeat of the words had him going crazy.

Novice angrily put down his sword on his lap and stared at it, so many beautiful details made it unique, a special sword, as bright and beautiful did it appear, it was cold and sharp. Like reality.

Novice shut his eyes, and move them towards the center of the room, and this is where he had trained for most of his life. Where he had grown fond of Melinda, where he had seen her at worst moments and was still able to see the good in her. Only he had seen her in those moments. No one else. Just him.

"Sir, Lady Elda calls for you down in Olympus, she said it was important."

Novice turned to look at the doorway to see Luke standing there with a soft gaze, and it was not pitty which Novice was glad about.

Novice didn't feel the strength needed to leave his spot at that moment, so he quietly sat there with Luke standing in the doorway.

"I'd suggest you go." Luke nervously inched closer to his friend, his stalwart friend, that could snap him into two halves. Despite Lukes fear, he kept going and going. Right until he was standing beside Novice.

"I know it's hard to lose her, but maybe if you go, you can find out of a way to save her and bring her back, Melinda isn't fully gone yet."

Luke held his breath and then slowly below blew it out, releasing the air he held in.

"Go to Elda and find out more about this, maybe Malinda isn't gone, and you can go get her or something." Luke took the sword from Novice lap and handed it to Novice.

"Save her. She needs you now more than ever, don't let the darkness take over her." Novice's eyes went wide with those words before he took his sword carefully and stood up. With no more words said he rushed out his room, leaving behind a very proud Luke.

"Well, there he goes again, off to save the world."

Novice rushed through the portal and wasted no time to appear in the throne room of Olympus, He looked around like a mental person and spotted Elda who was rubbing Voids back in a circular motion, it was a way she calmed him down.

"Elda," Novice shouted out, making the woman jump in surprise, Elda turned to face Novice direction. His expression had her worried in a matter of seconds.

"My goodness, please don't yell." Elda held her hand over her chest and took a deep breath.

"Mel-" Novice was ready to speak, but he was cut off by Elda who placed a finger over her own lips, in a manner of telling him to be quiet.

"We know about Melinda, it's why we wanted you to come here." Elda took out the stone and handed it to Novice, the stone made a vibration sound before it began to glow white. Novice struggled with it and tried to drop it, but instead, it grew brighter.

Elda and Void both took a step back in shock as Novice was consumed by the bright glow.

The glow didn't last, and once it cleared, everyone could see Novice's clothing changed, his eyes began to glow a bright color, and when that light dead, his eyes turned, going back to their hold sea green color. Leaving him standing there confused at the painless transformation.

Silence filled the throne room as everyone looked at the boy who now stood before them.

"Percy," Hestia muttered out amazed as she rushed to the boy.

Everyone else stood around in shock at the person standing tall.

"It can't be!" Zeus roared out. Angered by the fact that the boy he had tried to hard to get rid of had returned.

Percy however, stood their glaring at them all. Mostly at Poseidon.

His gaze then moved to Elda, as she stood with a small smile on her face. As he gave Hestia a side hug.

"I need to know where Melinda is at, I'll deal with everything else later." Void cleared his throat getting everyone's attention.

"He's right, we need to find the girl." Slowly walking around, void began to think, many ideas ran through his head, but none were the kind needed to save the girl from the dark abyss. Finally, after a good seven minutes, he gave up. Shaking his head, he sadly glanced at Percy.

"I am sorry grandson, I cannot help you. However, I know of someone who might." with a lift of his arm, void summoned a large book. A book the same size as Percy in his human height. Amazed by the book, everyone gasped as it opened by itself. The pages turned on their own, and by a simple glance, you could see it was a book about every god and goddess alive, even those that had long faded.

Athena was quick to scan the pages before they flip. Giving a victorious smile as she gained new information.

Percy, just watched in curiosity as the pages went in alphabetical order.

After five minutes. The pages stop flipping and stop on a page with the image of a girl with similarities to that of Nyx.

Percy's eyes opened wide as he realized who this was.

"Darkness. Goddess of Fear and nightmares." Athena's voice filled the room as she read the name written in ink.

"Who..." With her eyes, she scanned the pages, as Void and Elda took a glance at each other.

"My daughter, I had rejected her as so, her powers were too much to handle in the void, and so I had to cast her out." Elda soothingly rubbled Void's back. In hopes to calm him down.

Percy stared at the portrait of the girl and muttered an ancient Greek.

"Where can I find her?" The book began to shake as Void shook his head.

"You can find her in the obsidian."

Void took a glance around the room, as he walked towards Percy. His heavy footsteps echoing through the throne room, as the gods stood away silently.

"Be careful boy, going there is for the strongest only. Only the worst of Criminals go to the obsidian. Those that go in don't return. To go to that planet would be suicide, however, knowing you, you're going to go, either way, its best if you go alone, but maybe that boy Ruben could be of use."

"Well then, It's time I go meet Darkness." With those words said Percy was off, giving the last glare to Poseidon and Zeus before marching out of the throne room.

Void turned to the page and looked into the eyes of Darkness. My daughter, I beg of you, I know I have wrong you, but the boy has done nothing wrong, be of a kind heart, and aid him in his journey."

The last word left his mouth when booming dark laughter filled the throne room. The book flipped a page going to a bright page.

A black ink began to appear, in Greek, spelling out in clear bold laters.

"As you wish."
