Silence filled the throne room as everyone took a glance at Melinda but to their surprise, the young prince had tears streaming down his cheek. For once he felt at ease knowing that the one he loved was by his side, and to his hopes, she was there to stay.
Melinda gently pulled Percy closer to her, while wrapping her arm around his waist and placing her chin on his head.
"Calm down," She muttered silently into his ear. Percy stayed with a glare aimed at the gods, staring at nothing but them. Melinda gripped his shoulder and pulled him back a step, "Calm down," she repeated again with more authority in her tone, Percy's attention was now drawn to the authority in her. with a grimace, he turned to look at the girl.
"Melinda?" He asked, Melinda gave a smile as a response and once again, in a smooth tone, repeated for the third time.
"Calm down." This time, Percy's body began to relax at the sound of her voice, it was so soothing to hear, making it sound like a gentle lullaby in his ear.
Tears rolled down his cheeks as he held her close enough to leave no gap open for anyone else to intrude. "Never leave me, don't you see? I can't live without you." He whispered into her ear, for the first time, Melinda felt joy run through her.
Her eyes slipped closed as she, herself let tears flow like a river. The emotions in her had built up throughout the many centuries she had spent down in Tartarus. "I won't forget lover boy." She let out a small laugh and lifted her head. A bright smile on her face made even Apollo gasp.
"Know, I will properly introduce myself." She lifted her eyes to meet the ones of the Gods.
To them, Melinda was a whole different person. She no longer had the treating aura around her. The icy feeling that once followed her was gone, completely replaced by a sensation of safety the now felt. Athena was the first to noticed that this version of Melinda was more willing to show expressions. Hera noticed the motherly feeling the woman had. Making it feel as if Melinda had been a mother before. Aphrodite admired her change in attire. From the once dark and depressing color, Melinda went to white, joyful colors. Her beautiful summer dress shone brightly with her mood, making her seem like an angel. Drawing Jealousy out of the goddess of love.
Everyone noticed the changes in the Primordial, and they smiled at those marvelous changes.
"I am Melinda, the rightful primordial of magnanimity, purity, and memories." She frowned slightly and let out a deep sigh. "But along with those domains, a cruel one lays beneath, my last domain of terror."
Silence now filled the throne room, while Percy pulled Melinda closer to him once more, this time, her back was against him. His arms were wrapped around her with confidence.
"I think it's time we destroy Omega once in for all," Athena stated, completely obliterating the silence. Melinda's eyes filled with a deadly spark of vengeance.
"I'd love to destroy that worthless primordial, he has done nothing but cause me harm."
A large smile made it's way to Percy's face, hearing those words from her gave him hope.
"I say we prepare for battle!" Ares shouted with deep glee. An audible chuckle escaped from Melinda's lips.
"Oh, a battle will be splendid, however, I was hoping more of a sabotage." She admitted.
Ares glee turned into a anger as he slammed his sword into his throne.
"What can be better than a fight?!" He shouted, only earning a smile from the Melinda.
