AND I'M BACK WITH ANOTHER CHAPTER!
"please"
That word hung in the air, which was then followed by a defining silence.
Tartarus did nothing but stare at his daughter with a blank stare swirling in his gaze.
"A great warrior like you does not beg. They fight, beat and destroy. No matter if they are blind, deaf or battered, you will fight and win." He bent down and pulled her up by the arm giving Melinda no choice but to stand beside her father and now all Melinda could do was sob as her father's words filled her head.
"I can't fight anymore, don't you get it?! I am nothing, can do nothing, am nothing. Just kill me and end it," Melinda yelled yanking her arm away from the hold Tartarus had on her. Gaea and Nyx let out a scream as they rush to pull Melinda to her feet.
"Please think of Perseus. He needs you." Gaea pleaded as she gently brushed her fingers through Melinda's hair.
"I can't see anymore. I am pretty much useless." Melinda's tone went soft as she kicked her foot forward, successfully freeing herself from all their hold.
"If you do not do anything to free me from my curses. I will find someone who can." Melinda's words struck hard as the fog began to fill the dark halls. Gaea came to realize and screamed launching towards Melinda, only to be greeted by nothingness.
"She's gone." Gaea lifted her head, revealing watery eyes.
"My daughter is gone to find someone to do the job." The words bearly left her mouth before a loud cry followed it.
"No." Nyx slammed her fist again the wall of the hall and slid down it slowly, grieving for her friend.

All the goddesses turned to look at one another, Melinda had not gone through with them.
And now Zeus was in trouble with Void.
"Please, not right now," Elda said placing a hand on Void's shoulder. Her eyes traveled around the room, scanning every last detail, before moving her gaze to meet Zeus's.
"You see, we're in danger. Melinda didn't return with the goddesses, and now we are left without one of our best warriors, Like it or not, she is and has been the best fighter we have ever had." Elda's tone dropped to a deadly one, something no one has ever heard from her mouth.
"Stop fighting and worry more about what's to come that what is said." The silence in the room was deafening as everyone just glanced at one another.
Finally, after what seemed like a while, Athena took a step forward and gave the approving glanced towards Elda.
"I agree with Lady Elda, this isn't time for fighting, and we need to focus on the main threat. Someone must find the prince and bring him here." Athena glanced at Artemis who understood why the prince was needed.
"Before I entered the portal, Melinda gave me this." Artemis pulled out the stone Melinda had given her.
"She gave clear instructions to give it to Novice, and I want to give it to him." Artemis clutched the stone in her fist as she stared at Elda, waiting for her response.
Elda gave a small nod and made a hand gesture, within seconds, a smoky screen agreed and in the center of it was Novice, fully cloaked and staring out into a calm sea.
"Novice," Elda called out drawing that princes attention towards her. Imidietly his mood seemed to change from worried to relieved as he turned entirely to the screen.
"Elda. Thank you for calling, I need help locating Melinda I can't sense her power no more." His voice cracked making the goddesses all frown.
Aphrodite's heart beat loudly in her chest as she heard the sound of Novice worried tone. This man was undoubtedly in love, and she hasn't felt love like this since Percy Jackson love towards Annabeth.
"Melinda wasn't able to escape Tartarus." Elda sadly stared at him. Everyone could only watch as Novice dropped to his knees and covered his face, blocking every last inch of it.
"I suspect that she didn't make it." A new voice joined, a sinister tone of victory was behind it.
Omega walked in with a big smile of victory in his lips.
"I don't even suspect, and everything went according to plan." He twirled a pen between his fingers as he walked.
Novice froze as he lifted his gaze to see Omega. Nothing but anger began to flourish in him.
"What did you do to her!?" Novice growled out as he balled his fist.
A chuckled broke out from Omega as he put the pen behind his ear.
"She faded on her own free will." Omega gave a smug smile and ripped the stone out of Artemis hand.
"I'll take this." Now the stone was in his hand, but instead of a victory laugh, a scream of anger left his mouth.
"No, No." He threw the stone, and it slides across the glossy floor.
The stone was now losing color and turning gray, just like any ordinary rock.
"She is gone," Omega screamed sending a punch to the thing closet to him, a pillar.
"Yes, she's gone. You said it yourself." A new voice joined, a familiar sensation of nothingness filled the throne room.
Darkness walked towards them with a very annoyed expression.
"Though not exactly as you planned." She muttered loud enough for everyone to hear.
"As you can see the stone us useless without the one who created it. With Melinda gone, her domains no longer exist."
Probably one of the shortest chapters I've ever written, but I hope you all enjoyed it. ENJOY YOUR LAST DAY OF 2017,
