Chapter 14 Surprise

Percy's POV

"Earth?" I asked tilting my head to the side curiously. Andrew nodded as he crossed his scaly arms.

"Yes, Earth. Have you looked there?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. I shook my head. Feeling pretty stupid for not thinking of until know.

Sylvania gave off a small sigh as she looked over Melinda's room. I was scanning it carefully.

Yeah, we were inside her room. Something told me I could find something here. And it's when I found her armor. It had a tracker. Just in case she ever got lost while in battle. And she was wearing one last time I had checked.

Alex tracked her down on Earth which was good. Let's just hope the other guy hasn't found her first. I've been so worried about her that I haven't slept well for the last three months.

"Well let's go get her," I stated eagerly. Andrew sighed and walked out Melinda's room.

Once I was alone in her room, I silently prayed to anyone begging to find her. Void himself even agreed to help. At least I think Void does want to. I sat down on Melinda's bed and covered my face with my hands.

"Hey." I looked up to see Emma. She was standing beside Ruben. I moved my gaze to anything other than her. She's been strangely kind to me lately. And I hurt honestly. Every time I would see her. Ruben would be with her. At one point I even caught them Kissing. What's strange is that I feel hurt every single time I see them together.

I even came to doubt my feelings for Melinda. Which also made me feel guilty.

I did everything I could to get the hang of being prince quickly. It came to the point people knew who I was by a mere glance.

That plus my mother forced me to wear a stupid crown. I hate the thing I tried 'losing it, ' but my mom would have a backup. She even glued it to my head when I went to a meeting!

And let's not mention the 'seductive' females. Man, that was even worse. I can't walk into the kitchen without a woman trying to flirt with me.

Usually. I would hang out with Luke and Bianca. If I wasn't on a mission that is.

"So. Novice. How is finding Melinda going?" Bianca asked walking in. How does everyone know I am even in her room?!

"Hey, guys!" I said glancing up with a smile. Feeling a bit better after knowing where she is. At least I am closer to finding her now.

"We found out she's on earth," I said scratching the back of my head. I glanced at Bianca and Luke who looked like they've got slapped in the face by a space monkey.

"On earth?" Luke asked slowly. I nodded confused by their reaction. I thought they'd be happy to know we are close to finding her.

"I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go there," Bianca said sounding worried. I narrowed my eyes.

"Melinda is there. Probably still in a coma. I need to find her. I took her power, and she needs it back." I said forcing myself not to glare at them. Luke sighed as he gave a small nod. Making me feel a bit better.

"Alright. Fine, but be careful. And wear a mask." Bianca said in her mother tone. I chuckled softly and watched as they both walked out hand and hand.

I watched in pain as they pecked each other right outside the door, before going separate ways. I sighed out and collapsed onto Melinda's bed. I covered my eyes with my arms. I missed her.
