Chapter 6: Far from Gone

Percy's POV:

I walked down the stairs with Elda who was struggling to walk down.

"Come on. You can do it." I encouraged. Only earning a glare from Elda.

"I may be old, but I currently know how to get down a few stairs in my state." She scowled. I smiled at her apologetically.

"And I'm glad that Emily girl is gone. She wasn't good in the first place. I prefer the Emma girl." Elda said giving me a good smile. I blushed softly and shook my head.

"No. I won't jump into any sudden relationships anymore. I'll let time take place." I looked towards her and sighed deeply.

"Good, you learned a valuable lesson." Elda chuckled. I smiled softly, as I helped her take of the stairs. I looked around the living room. Emma was reading some papers which looked important, by her simple expression. Luke was cuddling with Bianca. I guess those two are a thing now. Black and silver where both sitting next to each other holding hands. Looking back towards Elda.

"Yeah. I sure did." I responded drawing Everyone's attention towards us.

"Good. You're ready. I see you have what you need." Elda smiled sadly, as she looked around the house.

'I will miss this place. The last memories of my daughter's family. May they rest in peace.' Elda's thoughts filled my head. I let out a deep sigh as I took her bags from her.

"Let's go." I said looking at Emma who gave me a firm nod.

"Formation F" She ordered. The others quickly surrounded Elda and I, Emma rose her hand ready to transport us, but a knock at the door made us all freeze.

"Who is it?" Elda asked.

"quickly hide the bags." She said looking at us all. I nodded and placed them behind the stairwell.

"It's Emily." I groaned in annoyance as Elda opened the door. Shining a kind smile at Emily.

"How can I help you dear?" She asked softly, and kindly. I almost let out a snort at the façade.

"I need to speak with Percy." Emily said shoving Elda out the way. Elda fell to the ground at the push. Hitting her head on the edge of the table near the door.

"Elda." I screamed rushing towards her. I glared up at Emily who didn't seem to care. Blood leaked out of Elda's head. She must have hit herself hard on the tables edge. I shook with fear at the thought of losing Elda.

"Hold on Elda. Emma help me." I begged. Emma glared at Emily as she rushed over to me.

"I hope everyone thinks you're crazy." Emma growled out hovering her hand above Elda's head. A bright glow of power flowed out into Elda. Emily gasped loudly at the sight before her.

"Come back Elda." Emma muttered.

"You'll live longer than this." Luke said helping me pick up Elda. I glanced to the side to see Silver pushing Emily out the door.

"Crazy freaks." Emily screamed pointing a finger at us. Before Silver gave her, a good hard push and kicked her out the house.

I sighed with relief at knowing that Emily was out the situation. No more of her. I looked down at Elda who had her eyes shut tightly in pain.

"Ow." She mumbled lowly. "Let's get her to the infirmary in the palace." Emma said standing up. Elda's bleeding stopped which made me feel relieved. She has a chance at living longer.
