Part 2: Pagentry

That night I spent 30 minutes painting my face. When I was finished I had a big white and red rose over my left eye with one white contact in my left eye and a black contact in my right eye. The background around the rose was completely black. The rose was emerging from broken glass which was on the other side of my face. I looked kind of freaky but it had a mystery to it. I set everything up and took a deep breath. You are invincible and unique. You can do this. I whispered to myself.

"Hey guys. Rose back for another week." I greeted the camera. "This week I'm going to be doing a cover of a few songs as well as talking about doing this channel. The first song I'll be singing is one of my favorites. I just can't stop listening to it. Here Señorita by Justin Timberlake."
I grabbed my guitar from the left and immediately being strumming the chords for the song. Losing myself in the music I poured all of my emotion into the rendition of the song.
"Ok so that was Señorita by JT. Moving on now to why I 'do' this channel. Honestly, I started this channel because I thought 'oh hey this would be fun' it's somewhere my dorkiness can be free." I said with a laugh. "Ok well to end this weeks video I'm going to sing one other song that I've become absolutely​ obsessed with recently. But all biase aside make sure to comment which song you liked better and click the subscribe button down below. Here's Death of a Bachelor by Panic at the Disco." I play the song and really get into it before ending the video. "See you guys next week!"

I click the stop button to end the video and go about cleaning my room up. I take down the white sheet I put up over my green wall as a backdrop. After I had everything cleaned up I plopped myself down on my bed and started to edit the video. After I finished I posted it and went downstairs to get a bowl of chips. Running back upstairs after I did just that, I opened my laptop again and settled in for a night of surfing YouTube. Not even an hour later, I had a few notifications. My subscribers like my video a lot and they wanted to get to know more about me. "Love it. You give me confidence Rose." Dolanfanatic wrote. "You're such a great influence. I love your videos!" alexlange5 wrote. Reading through the few but inspiring quotes I felt loved. I felt like I had a place, even if the people who watched my videos didn't know what my real name was or what I looked like, I felt like I had a place.

Little did I know that overnight my life would change.
