Veronica's p.o.v.

Ethan left before Lola came home simply glowing from being gone a few hours. Grayson came in after her carrying more bags than I expected.

"Hey Lola, hey Gray," I said without turning away from cooking. Neither of them said anything and that made me turn around. They stood there whispering and smiling. Remembering that I was there, they backed away from each other. Lola was simply glowing and Grayson looked like he felt awkward.

He rubbed the back of his neck and sheepishly looked down before saying, "I think I've got to run. It was cool seeing you Veronica. And I had fun today Lola." He blushed deeply at the last sentence. "Have a good night," he said before the door shut.

"I had the best day," Lola said as she sat down on the couch with her eyes closed.

I turned back to the food and said, "That's good. So did I. Why don't you put the stuff you got away and tell me while we eat. You have to show me the dress you got too."

She put the stuff she got today away as I finished cooking. She sat down at the kitchen table even happier (if it was even possible) and started telling me everything. It turns out after Grayson snuck out, he found Lola out shopping and stayed with her as she looked at different things. While they were out, Lola began to feel cramps, reminding her it's that time of the month so she headed to a target close by. She went toward the feminine aisle and Grayson followed. He waited patiently for a minute or two but soon a mischievous smile spread across his face and he grabbed a package of pads. Lola was eye level with the bottom shelf trying to find the kind she wanted and Grayson playfully tossed the package of pads at Lola. Lola grabbed the kind she needed, stood up and started chasing him down the aisle. They both got looks from many other customers in the store when they both fell to the ground, laughing. She went back to grab a few more things she needed and before she could get up to go Grayson approached her and gently pushed her over. (He helped her up though). After that, he took her to lunch at the grove and dropped her off at the apartment.

"It was the best!" She told me as I finished my food.

I laughed as I finished chewing, "I'm glad you had an amazing day. I want to see your dress now."

She laughed, "Ok, but I'm not washing the dishes."

"Don't worry I've got it," I said rolling my eyes. I started washing the dishes as Lola went to go out her dress on.

"I have it on," she said from somewhere behind me. I turned around not expecting to see what I saw. Lola dress was beautiful. It was floor length and dark blue. There was a slit that went up to her mid thigh with silver and white beads that went around her waist. The top had a collar made out of similar beads and the dress was form fitting.

"It's beautiful," I told her, "Did Grayson see it?" If he did it would be a problem.

"No he didn't. He caught up with me at target. The dress was already in the car with Ricky," she replied as she went over to the mirror and admired her reflection.

I raised an eyebrow, "And he said nothing about Ricky?"

She turned around and looked at me. "No he didn't.I don't think he even noticed...I think."

"If he finds out about Rose...if they find out......" I said trailing off.

"Relax they won't find out," she said as she went back to looking at the dress.

"If you say so," I said slightly sarcastically, "Now go get changed, I want to watch a movie." I turned away from Lola and grabbed some popcorn out of the cabinet.

"Ok, ok," she said as she picked up her dress and went to go get changed. We ended up watching Pitch Perfect. The room was trashed, with popcorn on the floor and smashed between the couch cushions.

"Ugh," I said as I got up and stretched.

"I'm not cleaning this up. I'm going to bed," Lola said quickly as she got up, ran to her room and closed the door.

"Darn you Lola," I muttered under my breath as I folded the blanket up. As I started to clean up the remnants of the smashed popcorn between the couch, I began to think about everything that's happened. In just about three or four weeks my YouTube channel blew up and now Lola and I have been living in Los Angeles for a few days. We've been through a lot in such a short time. And we got invited to the Teen's Choice awards! It's all so much so fast. And it's not over yet, it's just starting.

Ethan's p.o.v.

I left just as dusk started to settle over the beach. As I skated down the sidewalk, I looked over at the sunset. It was something that I always loved about Los Angeles. I turned and went toward the beach. Hopping off my longboard at the end of the path, I stepped onto the warm sand. I walked toward the cliff with rocks at the edge of the water and a small cave with bushes on the left. Perching on a big rock, I looked over the ocean. As much as I disliked the ocean because of sharks, I couldn't help but feel slightly drawn to it, especially in the evening. I wish I could bring Veronica here. And Rose. Just as I thought of Rose, I heard a few female voices to my right. I scrambled to the entrance of the cave and hid in a bush just as the walked past.

"She's going to get it," the one girls said. She was barely covered up in tight short shorts and a crop top that was almost see through. Her blonde hair went down to her hips which contrasted with her tan skin. "I don't care if she's happy or making a new start; she needs to pay for what she did back home."

"I'm confused," one of the other girls said. She was taller than the first girl, with darker skin and thicker thighs. Her dark brown hair was the same length. "She didn't do anything. You just got back at her for--"

"She did do something! She humiliated me in front of everyone!" The blonde stopped and stomped her foot in the sand, "You weren't there Aly because you were getting a nose job. Just ask Jackie; she was at the party." The blonde then turned around and kept walking along the beach.

"She actually didn't do anyth---," the third girl, I'm assuming was Jackie, started to say. She was interrupted by the blonde before she could finish.

"You two don't get it!" The blonde turned around and screeched at Jackie and Aly, "She made me look like a slut in front of everyone at that party! I don't care if Veronica is trying to forget all of what happened! The reputation of Mary Mitchell has been tainted and she intends to clear her name. Now let's go, we have to head back to the party before all the fun ends." The three girls sauntered off, thankfully, back the way they came. After they were gone I took one last glance at the sunset and left. As I skated home I could help but think of what I'd heard. Veronica humiliated a girl at a party? She doesn't seem like the kind of girl to do that. Could they even be talking Veronica? Maybe it's a different Veronica they were talking about? Why was Veronica saying 'get away from me Mary' in her sleep then? My mind was overwhelmed with everything I heard and what I was guessing. I decided to forget all about it and I skated all the way back to the apartment building as the sun set over the horizon.
