Part 29: Thankful

Veronica's p.o.v.

"When you are interviewed do not answer any personal questions such as family back home, where you live and where you lived; things like that." Lola, Ricky, the company publicist and I were in the car on the way to the Teen Choice awards.

"Ok so basically don't say anything to personal," I said.

"Exactly," the publicist said. She started talking to someone and tapping away on a touch screen laptop. I turned toward the window and gazed out at the passing palm trees while Lola and Ricky talked about social media advertising. I watched as the sun set over the sparkling waves of the ocean. People were surfing and swimming along the coasts. I was almost jealous of how normal those people had it. They didn't have a secret life.

Ethan's p.o.v.

"Come on Grayson everyone is waiting in the car for us!" I shouted upstairs to Gray. He was taking so long making sure his hair was perfect.

"Ok ok! I'm coming," he said as he ran down the stairs. He grabbed his phone and keys before I locked the door up.

We got in the car and started making our way to the Teen Choice awards. Grayson and I were jamming out to music and Cameron, our sister, was rolling her eyes at us while talking to our bodyguard. Just as Gray and I were laughing and acting like complete idiots, my phone vibrated in my pocket.

Rose 🌹: Hey

Grant 🏈: Hey 

Rose 🌹: What's up?

Grant 🏈: Not much. I'm out and about with family right now.

Rose 🌹: That's great. Can I ask something weird?

Grant 🏈: Sure. Go ahead.

Rose 🌹: Is it weird that I'm nervous for an awards show?

Grant 🏈: No not at all. But you're nervous?

I was slightly taken aback by the fact the Rose was nervous. She always seemed so confident with everything she did. How could she be nervous?

Rose 🌹: Yes. I'm really nervous. I know I have no reason to be but I still am very nervous. 

Grant 🏈: You don't have to be nervous. Just act like you're making another youtube video. If you start to get really nervous then just think of looking at a camera in your house. It might help you calm down. 

Rose 🌹: You know that makes a lot of sense. Thank you for helping me calm down. Now distract me even more. How are things going with that girl that you said you liked? Have you figured out what she likes to do?

Grant 🏈: I kind of have figured out what she likes to do. She likes photography, dancing, singing and watching movies.

Veronica's p.o.v.

This girl sounds a lot like me. 

Rose 🌹: That's great! What's her name?

Grant 🏈: Her name is Veronica. She is really pretty and I like her a lot. But there is one thing about her that I'm not so sure about.

Rose 🌹: What are you not so sure about? 

I think he's talking about me.

Grant 🏈: Well, one of her old friends came back and she seems really, I guess, evil. She makes me really uncomfortable when she's around. I don't want to be rude but she just, just seems really evil. I don't know how to explain it.
