•Chapter 4•
It's been a week since I talked to Nathan. Every now and then he would look at me when he's talking to his other friends. Bethany and Jesy won't talk to me anymore. I feel as if I'm all alone. No one will tell me what's happened with our friendships. Why can't I just get answers?

Bethany walked by me, almost totally ignoring my presence. Almost.
"Hey! Sarah!" She engulfed me into a hug. "Look-"
"Why are beginning to talk to me again? Were you too caught up with your boyfriend and other friends then talk to me for a last week?" I fumed.
"No! What makes you think that?" She tried to regain her confidence.
"You've been with your little "possy" for the past week. Leaving me out. Not even acknowledging my existence. Can you seriously forget me that easily?" I slammed my locker and stormed off.
"Okay! We're sorry. How about we make it up to you tonight? Jesy and I will take you out dinner and then a party tonight? We can skip school tomorrow since it's Tuesday." She began to explain.
"No. You know how I am with parties. Not my thing." I was going into my first class until she stopped me dead in my tracks.
"Come on. Please? We don't even have to take you out to the party. Just the dinner. Okay?" She leaned forward, causing a little too much cleavage to pop out of the top of her shirt.
"Fine." I breathed. "Now move." I pushed her body out of the way. I noticed a paper airplane necklace dangling on a silver chain. "What's that?" I played with the small airplane in my hands.
"It was a gift." She explained and took the necklace from my hands. She strutted off without another word.
