•Chapter 36•
•Bethany's Pov•
It's been exactly a week since Sarah left again. Exactly one week since she came back. Then, she left. I decided that I would go and see her today. Nathan needed to catch up on a few things in school. He's been really worried about Sarah. He called the institution, who knows how many times, begging to let him see her. He really does care for her.
I walked out to my car. As I was about to open the drivers door, a familiar voice came from behind me.
"Bethany?" His low voice asked.
I turned around, noticing that it was Harry. "Yes?"
"Are you going to see Sarah?" He asked. He walked closer to me.
"Don't come any closer," I snapped. "but yes, I am. Why?"
"Listen, before you say no, I really miss Sarah. I just want to see her; know that she's okay. Not talk to her, just see her." He mumbled. He fiddled with his rings as he spoke. "Please?" He begged.
I huffed. "Fine, but under one condition." His shot his gaze back to mine. "Stay out of sight."
He smiled, agreeing with the deal. "C-Can I hug you? Just as like, a thank you for letting me come along?" He slowly asked.
I nodded. I was then attacked into a warm embrace. Teakwood filled my senses. "Thank you, Bethany." He mumbled.
"Your welcome; but if you want to see her, then get in the car." I grumbled.
He was immediately in the car. I got into the car myself, turning the key in ignition.

We arrived at the institution. I signed in as a visitor and who I was visiting, Harry acted he was the one that drove us here. He decided to wait for me in the waiting room, but a window led straight into the gaming room that she was in. What a coincidence.
I walked into the gaming room. She was facing the door, messing with a stack of cards. They were spread out across the table. She was flipping each one over.
"Hey, Sa-- Devin." I greeted her.
She peered up at me. "Hi..." Her voice was soft, broken.
The slippers that covered her feet contained holes in the sides. The sweats were scuffed up at the bottom and her shirt had several rips in the hem and the sides. She looked horrible.
I sat down in front of her, eyeing the cards. "Your missing a card." I skimmed over each card. "Eight of Diamonds." I mumbled.
"It's been missing since I got the stack last week." She replied.
"Oh." I mumbled. This was going nowhere.

Visiting hours had ended and I went to hug Sarah. She obliged but quickly released. "Teak wood." She whispered. "Did you see him?" She asked.
"Yes, this morning." I honestly replied.
"Is he here?" Her eyes bolded. She somehow knew that he was here. "Don't lie to me, Bethany." She held my hands tightly.
"He's here." I replied.
She slowly nodded, looking into the waiting room. She gulped hard when she spotted him. "I'm sorry, Sarah."
"It's alright really. I've been wanting to see him. If he's there in my hallucinations, the voices disappear. In fact, they are gone now." She kept his gaze on him.
I smiled. "So, all you need is him?" I asked, feeling relieved that's all she needed.
She nodded. "Ms. Hastings. It's time to go back to your room." Katherine walked through the door.
Sarah left my grasp, following Katherine out of the room. "Thank you for visiting." Katherine chirped as she held the door open for me.
"Thank you for letting me see her." I replied.
"Your welcome." They were gone down the corridor before I could say another word.
Harry walked out of the waiting room. "All she needed was to see you." I mumbled.
"I'm glad that's all she needed." I could hear the smile formed on his face from his voice; Happy.
"You should visit her soon. She seemed happy, a little when she saw you. I think actually speaking to you will help her, and you." I looked toward the curly haired boy who was looking down the corridor.
"Yeah. That'd be nice." He smiled wider.
"Let's go before it gets too dark out." I walked passed him and out to the parking lot.
