•Chapter 35•
•Sarah's Pov•
I had to go back? I wanted to go, but at the same time I didn't. I wanted to go so then I would be safe from Harry, but then if I did, my family would be threatened and maybe even beaten like I was. I wasn't going to put my family in that position. There was no way I was going to leave them.
"I'll help you get packed." Nathan totally ignored my protests.
"Nathan, please. You can't let me go. I thought you wanted me back." I whined.
"Sarah! Get packed!" He bursted.
I flinched back. What was going on with him? A knock filled the apartment.
"Stay here." Nathan left the bedroom to get the door.
"Hello, Ms. McCarthy. Is she here?" Harry's voice filled my ears, but it seemed like the real him, but I wasn't sure.
"No, Harry." My mom was scared of him. I could tell in her voice.
"Don't lie to me." He growled.
"She's not lying." Nathan spoke up. The only I could do was hide at this moment. I crawled silently over to his closet, trying not to hear their conversations.
"Says the one who's been seeing her everyday." Harry growled.
"That has nothing to do with her coming back." Nathan pestered.
"I saw you come back with her you bastard." Harry growled. "Now where is she?" I heard Harry's loud footsteps carry throughout the apartment.
I held my breath when his footsteps carried into the bedroom. My hands clutched the opposite forearms, breaking the skin.
"She was taken back to the mental institution." Bethany's voice filled the room as well.
After a few moments of silence Harry spoke up. "Why?" His voice was low, demon-like even.
"Because she wasn't fully treated. They found a stash of pills that she never took in a drawer." Bethany explained.
"Dammit Sarah." He breathed. Wood cracked on the surface of the door, but nothing else happened.
"I think it's time for you to go." Jesys footsteps carried into the room.
The shadows of them all fled from under the door. I began to sob once again when Harry left the apartment.
The door flung open to reveal a panicked Bethany. "Sarah! Are you alright?" She took my hands from my forearms.
I shook my head. "Let's get her out of here." Nathan carried me out of the apartment. My parents, Bethany and Jesy following closely behind. "Bethany, you and Jesy follow me while Mr. And Mrs. McCarthy are with me and Sarah. Got it?"
"Yeah." Bethany and Jesy said in unison.

I was carried inside by my Father. "Ah, Ms. Hastings is back." Katherine's voice filled my ears.
"Dress her in this gown and I'll take her back to her previous room. She won't be allowed visitors for the next week." Her voice grew louder.
"Will she be okay?" Bethany's voice spoke up.
"I'm sure that she will." The old woman replied.
I was carried off into a the changing room. My dad placed me down onto the bed. "Please, get better Sarah." He kissed my forehead before walking out of the changing room.
My mom began to change me once the door was closed.
***
I was in my cell after saying my goodbyes. The pocket knife was held in my hands, the blade popping out of the metal. I squeezed my hand onto the blade. A sting of pain filled my hand, but I reacted to nothing. Blood dropped onto the blue sheets as I watched the red liquid spill from my veins.
The Mental Institution was my new home.
