•Chapter 21•

•5 months in the making•

(Meaning it's been 5 months since she's been kidnapped.)

I've been sick for a month, nothing has helped with the symptoms. Coughing, fevers, migraines, aching bones. Harry's been helping out a lot, but the only thing that he won't do is take me to the doctor. He won't even take me to Liam. I've asked why several times but he's never answered me.

My fingers latched on to the red comforter, my lungs wanting to go under an attack. I cold taste a small bit of iron in the back of my throat. I rushed to the bathroom, flinging my body over to the porcelain bowl of the toilet. Dark red liquid flowed around in the water. Harry was immediately at my side.

"Come on. I can't see you like this anymore." He picked me up, taking me into the car. "Are you okay?" He mumbled.

I shook my head. What would make him think that I was okay?

Harry placed me onto the hospital bed. "He's going to be here soon." He took my small hand in his, kissing the pads of my fingers.

Liam ran in, his hair pushed out into several directions. "Sarah, are you alright?" He made his way toward me.

Harry answered for me. "She's been coughing, had a fever, and she threw up blood this morning." He looked down at me with sad eyes.

"Oh my god." Liam pulled out his pen and grabbed a clip board, writing down the symptoms. "I'll be back soon." He rushed out of the room.

•1 week later•

I was finally getting better, it was just a horrible stomach virus. Harry's other friends have been getting a little suspicious with his protection over me. Only one of them was suppose to be coming over tonight.

I was slipping on my light blue dress, attempting to zip up the back. I gave up after while of jumping around. I slipped my feet into my white toms. "Hey, Harry?" I called. I was walking down the hallway.

"Yeah?" He called back. He walked out into the hallway. His eyes met my gaze, and they grew slightly bigger. "You look amazing." He mumbled.

"Thanks, but can you zip me up?" I asked, pushing the top of the strapless dress together.

"Sure." He walked closer to me as I turned around. I felt the dress tighten around my figure, signaling that the dress was zipped.

David, Harry's blonde haired friend, had placed himself onto the couch in the living room. "So, Sarah... Has Harry been treating you well?" My palms began to sweat when the other vampire spoke to me.

"He has." I cleared my throat.

"That's good. Do you know why, Harry feels a certain affection for you?" David questioned, scooting to the edge of his seat.

I fiddled with the bandage around my hand. I took off the bandage and I felt David's gaze on my work. I showed him my hand. "I've been marked." I shortly explained.

"Oh." He grinned, taking my hand in his. "A rose. Why a rose, do you think?" He asked.

"I-I don't know." I mumbled.

"I think you should go, David." Harry's voice finally filled my ears next to me.

"Come on, Harry. I just got here." David skimmed his ice cold fingers along the mark. "She's nervous." He looked back towards me.

My breathing quickened when he placed his lips onto the back of my hand. "I'll be seeing you soon, Sarah." He got up from his seat, leading his way out of the house.

The moment David left, Harry faced me. "Are you alright, Sarah? I know that's not normal for you, but he had to know." He pulled my body towards him, pulling me into a hug.

He placed a soft kiss onto my forehead before placing another onto my lips. Tears left my eyes from the fear building up into my mind.
