•Chapter 37•
•Harry's Pov•
I drove over to the mental institution. I would finally be able to see Sarah, face to face and not just through windows. The way she looked yesterday; almost made myself go insane. I couldn't bare to see her that way. Her eyes were red and swollen, the color of them totally gone. Her skin was a pale white. Her hair was a dirty blonde from being stuck here for so long. What Bethany said yesterday; was she right about Sarah needing me?
I pulled into the parking lot of the institution. I got out of the black Mercedes. My boots clanked on the black pavement underneath me.
My legs carried me into the mental institution and to the front desk. "Hello, sir. How may I help you?"
"I'm here to visit, Devin Hastings." I replied.
"I need you to sign in for me and I'll need to check you for any weapons." She replied.
I signed the white paper, claiming who I was and who I was visiting. I was then checked for any weapons and was escorted down to the gaming room. Her gaze lifted up to the unlocked door. She was flipping through the cards.
She jumped up from her seat, running towards me. "Get me out of here.." she whispered. Her arms latched around my neck.
"I'm sorry, I can't Devin." I unhooked her arms from the back of my head.
"Why not?" She asked, keeping her eyes on me, they flicked to every feature of my face.
"Because they don't know why you need me. Why you need my help." I nudged my head toward the employees roaming around the lobby.
"Oh..." She trailed off. "Thank you for coming, Harry." She glanced up at me through her lashes.
"It was my pleasure." I sent her a smirk. She smiled at me, placing her forehead against mine.
"Can you stay for awhile?" She questioned.
"Of course. That's why I'm here." I pulled her back toward the table. I eyed the cards on the table.
"Eight of Diamonds is back." She whispered.
"Was that card missing?" I asked.
"Yes. It's been missing for a while." She explained.

I exited the institution. Before I left, Sarah wouldn't let me go. She said that when she saw me, the screaming and visions stopped. I was glad that I helped her get better, but the employees there wouldn't understand why she needed me so bad; why we needed each other.
Bethany's name popped up on the black iPhone. I answered after the first ring. "Hello?" I asked.
"Did you see her?" She whispered.
"Yes. Why are you whispering?" I drove back to my house, deep in the woods. I liked where I was at; nature was good for me. I didn't like the society in the open.
"Because I'm with Nathan and her parents." She explained. "I have to go. Bye." She hung up the phone.
I sighed, walking into the house, plopping down onto the couch.
