•Chapter 5•
"Wear something formal. Where we are going is a surprise." Jesy explained as we were walking to my car.
"Okay. Well, thanks Jesy. I'll see you tonight." I opened up the car door and scooted inside the leather seat. I slammed the door behind me once I was situated in the seat.
A knock from this window caused my body to jolt up in surprise. I looked toward the sound to see Nathan. My first instinct was to jump from the car and into his warm embrace.
"Nathan!" I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck. "Don't you dare, ever leave me again. Never." I placed my head into the crook of his neck.
"Don't worry. I wouldn't ever. Never again." His voice sounded like an angel, from not being heard in so long, to my ears.
"Don't let go." I wrapped my arms even tighter around his neck, if that was even possible.
"I won't." He reassured. "Do you want me to call you later?" He pulled away and looked me in the eyes.
I quickly nodded. He pulled away completely but kept my hand in his in a firm grip and kissed my forehead.
"I'll talk to you later, Sarah." Nathan left without another word.

I started walking out to Bethany's car in a maroon dress and white heels. My black hair was curled, flowing down to my breasts. My eyes were framed with black eyeliner, and lashes coated with mascara. My lips were a glossy pink, a normal contrast to my dress. I was holding a white wallet in my hands that contained my ID, Credit and Debit Card and some extra make up for emergency.
I opened up the silver Mazda 323 and slid into the clothed seat. "Hey. Thanks for taking me out tonight." I smiled at the two girls in the front seat.
"No problem, Sarah." Bethany smiled brightly at me. Her blonde hair was in a tight ponytail and was straightened. She was wearing a dark purple dress with a few bracelets on each wrist.
I looked over to Jesy, whose red hair was in waves. She was wearing a black dress that fit into all her curves perfectly.
***
It was after the dinner when we were already in the car. I may or may not have had 2 glasses of wine. My vision was a little hazy but I wasn't totally hung over. I was just buzzed.
I finally realized that we were going in a different direction of my home and the tension in the air rose as the silence went on.
"Uhm... We're going the wrong way, Beth." I looked toward her. Her eyes were narrowed as if concentrating on something else. Was she not noticing where she was going?
***
Bethany parked the car in front of an alleyway. She got out of the car and yanked open my car door. "Get out." She seethed.
"Why?" I asked.
"Get out of the fucking car!" She pulled on my arm, causing me to fall onto the concrete.
"Bethany! What are you doing?" Jesy kneeled down by my side.
"What this bitch deserves." The girl that I once knew had turned into the blonde haired devil that I always knew lived inside her. "I only used you to get to Daniel, you know that right? You have no use to me anymore. I finally got what I wanted and now, you're just a piece of trash." She narrowed her eyes at me. "Get up." She yanked on my hair, a shriek coming from my voice.
I got up before she could do anymore damage. "Jesy. Stay here." Bethany faced Jesy before turning back to the front of the alley way.
She pulled me deep into the ally. Tossing me to the ground when we were totally out of sight. "Here! You got what you wanted!" She yelled out at nothing. Who would she be referring to?
Bethany looked toward something in the distance. "There you are." A low British accent replied in the distance.
"You have her. Now, give me what I need." Bethany demanded and held out her hand.
Another came out from the darkness, a large hand with a small cross tattoo handed an object into Bethany's small hand.
"It's been good doing business with you." Bethany smiled and walked off.
"Hello, sweetheart." The husky voice seemed closer than before.
I could finally see the silhouette of the figure. He was tall, lean and fit. Who could he be? Why was I here?
"I could answer those questions running through your mind if I wanted to, but I won't." The figure came to a closer proximity with me.

•Bethany's Pov•
I cannot believe that I just sold my best friend to a kidnapper. What the fuck is wrong with me? I never meant the things that I said. I was being black mailed by the anonymous person. I didn't even know who he was. What am I going to tell Jesy and Daniel? Most importantly, what am I going to tell Nathan? He's always had feelings for her, ever since I can remember. I'm sure that non of them will want to see me again. I'm not going to be surprised if they do just that.
