•Chapter 13•

*** 3 Days Later ***

My hands trembled to reach for the water that sat on the coffee table. My legs were pressed close to my chest, my arms latched around them. I was home alone again. Harry went out with some of his so called "mates". He wouldn't be back till late. I really wanted to leave and tell Nathan that I'm sorry for bursting out on him that way, but I know that if I did, I would be in serious trouble. Right now, I didn't care if I was punished.

I got up off the couch, my knees aching from curled into a tight fetal position. I stretched slightly, grabbing the new bandage, wrapping it tightly around the marked hand. I slipped on my black boots before walking out into the forest. I still didn't like walking around in this place, Harry with me or not.

I stepped on several twigs and dried leaves before making it to the street. I ran across the road, not caring if I got ran over. I looked inside our usual coffee shop, where he now worked at. He told me over the phone his current information before he took the device.

I knocked lightly on the glass. Nathan perked his head toward the clear barrier. His eyes grew wide and his mouth opened slightly. He jogged over to the doors, unlocking them. The second the door was unlocked he engulfed me into his warm embrace.

"I'm so sorry, Nathan." I sobbed into the crook of his neck.

"Don't worry about it. I should've have even started all of that bullshit. I'm so sorry." He tightly wrapped his arms around my waist. "Let's go inside where's it's warm." He released me, pulling me inside the coffee shop.

My nose began to run as we entered the shop. He handed me a tissue from the back of the coffee lounge. "Thanks." I mumbled, blowing my nose.

"Welcome," he sat down at one of the couches, leading me with him, "listen. I'm really glad that he let you leave." He smiled.

"Uh- that's the thing. He didn't. I left on my own." I admitted, picking at the hem of my coral sweater.

"You what?!" He shouted.

"Yeah..." I trailed off when I looked out the window. Red eyes burned back at me. I blinked rapidly. The red eyes disappeared. "I should go so I don't get caught."

"No need to hurry, you're already caught." A low gravely British accent chimed in on our conversation.

"Shit..." I leaped from my seat, backing away from the raging curly-haired boy. He appeared in front of me, Nathan gone. Where the fuck?

"Come with me. We're leaving, and I'm not trusting you for a while, Angel." I hated the word as it rolled off his tongue.

"Don't call me that!" I bursted. I freed my hand from his grip. "Don't touch me either!" My hands were trembling, the gauze beginning to strip off my flesh.

"Don't reject me, Sarah." Harry growled. He forcefully pulled my body towards him. "You don't want to know the consequences. Your already in trouble. I'm sure you don't want to be in even more deep shit." He pulled me out of the coffee shop.

"Tell me where Nathan is, and I'll go with you." I grabbed onto the metal pole of the street light. The cold pricking my skin like needles, I pulled from the boys grip. I ran back into the coffee shop, beginning my search for the boy.

"He was never here." Harry's voice was lowered but was still filled with venom.

"What?" I turned around, narrowing my eyes at the demon in front of me.

"He was never here. He's been at his own house the whole time. This was a test. I knew I could never trust you." Harry pulled me back into the dark forest.

Hot tears left my eyes, staining my cheeks and my lips. We reached the house, I was then pulled into the basement, taken into a dark corridor. A metal door opened up, he threw me in. "You're staying in here tonight. Don't try to escape." He growled. The door slammed shut, being locked. His large footsteps faded.

I crawled my way over to the bed. I then cried myself to sleep, not wanting to be locked in here.
