A Different Type of Family

Daycare

At Anchor Beach Community Charter School, Stef got her twins to their first day of daycare. The twins's eyes' went huge like saucers as they saw the size of Anchor Beach.

"Too big mommy," Brandon added. "I might get lost."

"I miss the old daycare mommy," Bradley added. "Brandon is right. Too big."

"It seems that way and here comes Miss Adams," Stef added with an adorable, curly haired boy.

"Hi Lena," Stef added. "How are you this morning? This must be Ty?"

"I'm fine and you?" Lena asked as she eyed the twins."Yes this is Ty and this must be Brandon and Bradley. Who is who?" Lena asked.

"Brandon has green eyes and Bradley has hazel ones," Stef added. "Hi Ty. It is nice to meet you."

"Hi, " Ty whispered as he hid behind his mama.

"Ty this is Brandon and Bradley, they are my twin sons and they are starting today."

"Me too," Ty added. He thought he was the only one.

"Well let's get going kids," Lena and Stef added. Ty and the twins followed their moms' to their room.

"Great news, Ty and the twins are in the same class," Lena added.

"Great, they can get to know each other," Stef added as Lena's cell got a text.

"Crap," Lena added.

"What is it?" Stef asked.

"My sitter called out," Lena added.

"Oh," Stef added. "I know that you don't know me, but I leave five minutes from here and my mom is watching the triplets."

"Oh," Lena added conflicted. "I'm in a bind."

"That you are," Stef added. "My dad is helping out too."

"Over my better judgement I agree," Lena added. Stef followed Lena  to take AJ to Stef's house. Sharon did not mind and gave Lena her cell phone number and Frank's. Lena smiled as she kissed her son goodbye. 

"He is so cute," Sharon added. "Did you want to meet the triplets?"

"Sure," Lena added as she eyed three babies napping. "WOW."

"Stef has her hands full with five," Sharon added.

"I'd say," Lena added. "I can barely managed my two."

"Well I'd better go," Lena added. "Call me for anything."

An hour later, "I can't believe you took AJ to a stranger's house."

"Mom! I was in a bind and you left back home," Lena added. 

"Still," Dana added. "Just because she is Stef's mom is pointless."

"I got to go mom," Lena added. Dana sighed over the phone as the call was disconnected.

At three, Stef came for the twins and Ty. Lena was in a meeting, so she took all three home and got Ty's booster from Lena's secretary, Grace Chen.

"I'm home," Stef added as she ran in her home. The twins and Ty were in front of her.

"Hi baby," Sharon added. "How was work?"

"The same and here?"

"Great," Sharon added. "Baby twins, how was daycare?"

"It was great," the twins added. 

"You must be Ty?" Sharon added. "Want to say hi to AJ?"

"Yes please and it is nice meeting you," Ty added.
