A Different Type of Family

Five Years Later

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY. BABY TWINS," Callie and Lexi cried out in tears. The twins nodded and smiled. They were 15 years old today. They blushed as their moms' kissed their cheeks.

"MOMS!" they added. "We are 15. Not 5," they added.

"My love do you remember when they danced and took their diapers off?" Callie asked. Lexi nodded as she tried to control the tears.

"MOMS. We were eleven months old," they added.

"Where did the time go babe?" Lexi asked.

"I wish I knew," Callie added. "It felt like yesterday, you had the IVF."

They both remembered Lexi's pregnancy and they both returned to reality. As a switch, they both started to cry as the twins' sighed. "Women," they both added.

In the kitchen, Callie whipped up birthday waffles. The seventeen member family ate breakfast.

"Birthday dinner tonight. Baby twins, pick a place," Lexi added.

"Olive Garden," the twins added. "It's been a while."

"OG it is," Callie added as the twins smiled. The twins could not pronounce the restaurant right and called it OG for short. 

On the way to Anchor Beach, Lena spotted her twin grandson's with a smile as they came near her. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Lena and Stef added.

"Thanks grandma and nana," they both added. It was May and almost the end of their freshman year. The 13 youngest Adams Foster kids were almost done with fifth grade to start middle school.

"Where's the dinner?" Lena asked.

"Olive Garden," the twins replied as Stef smirked.

"Don't you mean OG?" Stef asked. They nodded.

The twins went to class as their younger siblings trailed behind. That was when juniors Derek, David, Drake and Dylan appeared. They are 18 and a year behind. They will be seniors in the new school year.

Lena eyed them and gave them a wink. All juniors had a mandatory speech in their communications classes. They four winked back and they came a long way, especially the youngest, Derek. They are also big brothers to James, Chloe, Shawn and Stacy. The two sets of twins are a year old. The first set of twins are AJ's and the second set of twins are Bruce's biologically with different woman. AJs are full black. Bruce's are full white.

Lena and Stef's favorite grand babies are Callie's and Lexi's 15. They always will be. The two became grandmother's for the first time when the twins were born 15 years ago.

Caleb Adams Foster saw his moms and got their attention. "MOMS!"

They eyed him worried and concerned and scared. "What is it baby?" they both asked.

"Both of our surrogates are pregnant," Caleb added. Stef and Lena beamed.

"Yes. How far along?" Lena asked.

"Two for Wyatt's and three for mine," Caleb added. "But they are huge."

Stef whacked his arm. "It might be twins or triplets."

"Don't say that," Caleb added in shock and a smile. He took off to teach his History class at a run. Lena chuckled at seeing him run. 

After school, the twins were in the library when their Aunt Grace collapsed. "AUNT GRACE!"

Pablo called an ambulance and later his nana since she was the Principal and Monte since she is the V.P. The two women rushed to Grace's side. She was passed out cold and Lena went to see her twin grandson's. "How are you two?" she asked.
