A Different Type of Family

Grace and Grant started to come to Monte and they loved her. Monte loved them too.

"We might need a bigger house?" Jenna asked. Monte nodded.

"Or we can expand the house?" Monte asked. "Even have the loft. Maybe Grant can use it?"

Jenna nodded. "So when should we ask them about getting adopted?" Monte asked.

"Tonight," Jenna added. After dinner, the younger twins sighed and eyed Jenna and Monte.

"What's wrong?" the younger twins asked.

"How would you two feel about adoption? It is called adult adoption," Monte asked.

"You want to adopt us?" Grant and Grace asked. "We were horrible to you."

"I know. But I feel in love like I did with my baby twins," Monte added. "Even if they are older than you two."

"Well?" Jenna asked. They nodded.

"We want to be adopted," they added.

Two weeks later, Grant and Grace Paul Porter smiled as their family hugged them. They now had a mom and mama again. Grace felt awful a few weeks later and Monte eyed her daughter in concern. "Could be a stomach virus?" Monte asked. "I will take you in."

"That's just what you or I need right now," Grace added.

"They aren't contagious," Monte replied. Grant and Grace were enrolled in the local community college for classes. "Let's get going," Monte added as she patted her swollen stomach. She could have the triplets any day now.

At the Doctor's office, "She's what?" Monte asked. Her daughter was pregnant?

"I'm what?" Grace asked. "I can't be. I used a condom and I'm on birth control."

"Well you know that those aren't 100%," he added.

"Apparently," Grace added as she rolled her eyes. Monte sighed. She and Jenna were going to be grandmothers.

As the Doctor James Smith left, Monte hugged her daughter. "Whose the dad?"

"Jesus Riviera," she added. "We had sex a month ago mama. But we used protection."

"We need to let him know and mom," Monte added. "We aren't disappointed."

"Well I did use protection," she added. Monte nodded.

At the Paul Porter home, "You're what?" Jenna asked in a scream.

"Pregnant," Grace added. "I used protection and I'm on birth control."

"And you still got pregnant?" Jenna asked shocked.

"Yes and I'm sorry mommy," Grace added. They both hugged her.

"You are forgiven and we need to let Jesus and his dad know," Monte added.

At the Riviera home, "You're what?" Jesus asked. "We used protection and you are on birth control."

"I know Jesus," Grace added. "I wanted to let you know."

Armando and Grace's moms' were talking. "I can't believe this," he added.

"Well they used a condom and she was on birth control. They aren't 100%," Monte added.

"Yup you can say that again," Armando added. "What now?"

"We support them, but they stay where they are," Armando added.

The kids turned around. "We will support you and Jesus you are going to college," he added.
